Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe hotel advertised an in house restaurant- it has been closed since COVID. Should reconsider opening again. It is inconvenient to find a nice restaurant when you don’t know the area.
The breakfast was the best we have had in the past 2 years since COVID.

United StatesThe air conditioner was on but was not blowing very hard and would not lower the temperature in the room. In the heat of the day it was extremely hot in there to the point I was sweating. Maintenance came up two times and said it was blowing but that it does get hot on the west side of the hotel.
It was clean and nice.

United StatesThe WiFi connection in my room wasn't all that. I kept losing connection and I could absolutely forget about watching any videos on my iPad. It kept stalling and then bouncing me off the connection. Other than that, I liked everything else about my stay!
Their breakfast was better than I expected. Biscuits and gravy, eggs with sausage, muffins and bagels, cereal, juice, coffee - it was all good. My room was upgraded when I walked in the door and was quite cozy. I was on the 6th floor and it was super quiet. I have no complaints!

United StatesThe price! They have always been ridiculously higher than simikar hotels though, and now that the restaurant and bar are gone and other things (due to covid I guess), not to mention the place is getting pretty old and run down (the fountains are barren, the plants in the atrium are gone, and ALL of the mall-like rooms that were shops, restaurants, bar, salon, etc. are now vacant. There is no business center or printing service. Still has a hot breakfast but after almost a week its painfully obvious the daily offerings will remain the same (last time I was here there was some variety from day to day... etcthe prices are still unchanged
Love the location and friendly professional staff! !

United StatesThe building could use a bit of a freshening up with updated paint/color scheme (inside the elevator was noticeably more outdate) and updated/newer hallway carpeting. LOVED the atrium area and feel of the space. Will definitely be back in the future if ever in the Topeka area.
Staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful; especially the gentleman who was working the breakfast station this morning. Rating for staff is 10+

United StatesHotel in need of updating, we have been stopping here most of the 20 years we’ve been driving out to Colorado for the summers. Carpet is very old, maybe that old, hotel seems dark. Nothing paint and new carpeting wouldn’t fix. We stop here because of the breakfast and easy on and off location to I 70.
Breakfast fantastic as usual, special shout out to gentleman behind serving table. Such a welcoming man, made everyone feel special.

United Statesa little hard to find the hotel front entrance. the hotel signs indicating where to turn were a little small and not clear… caused us to try to enter a closed entrance to something I think that was called 12, but was still part of the Ramada Wyndham complex. the hot tub was not hot and was the main reason I chose this hotel as we looked forward to relaxing after a long drive. I feel foolish for paying the higher price to get a room at a hotel with a hot tub.

United StatesThe elevators were CREEPY. No notice that they’ve been inspected and safety checked recently. The floor level light blinked random floor numbers and the elevator beeped randomly as it was going. This was the case for both elevators coming up to our room. We were on the tenth floor and took the stairs because we were so uncomfortable. The overall place was also very outdated, it’s higher rating was probably more accurate like ten years ago then it is currently. There weren’t very many people staying there which also contributed to the creepy quietness.
The room was clean and the potatoes at breakfast were good! It was also very walkable to Iron Rail Brewing, which we enjoyed during our stay.
