How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I didn't see the housekeeper because nobody was clean and changed our room for 3 days. We have only two towels, two face towels and two hand towels. I'm glad we brought body soap, shampoo and conditioner because we have one tiny shampoo and conditioner and three tiny soaps. They don't have pastries and coffee like before 😔😔😔

The clerk in the office that checked us in was rude. The loft was REALLY hot and the ceiling fan only worked on low speed so the people staying downstairs had to literally freeze to death in order to keep the loft cool. The floors turned out feet black from walking on it. The room sleeps 6 people, however, we were only given 2 shower towels. The power cord to our microwave had been chewed up, exposing the colored wiring. The fridge door would not stay shut. The blinds up in the loft were all broken and parts of them were missing. The curtains downstairs didn't have hooks for hanging for the majority of the curtain and they wouldn't close all the way. There were thugs hanging around the parking lot all day and night and even asked my son if he wanted to buy some weed. The day before we left, van loads of illegals unloaded into every room on our end of the hotel surrounding us. Needless to say, we left that evening and drove all the way back to Florida that night.
I liked the loft room. It was different.

my non smoking room had a cigarette burn in the blanket. the people next to me were very loud until 3 am both nights.
it was close to the Naval training facility and highway to the airport . The room looks like they’re trying to update.

The room was gross .When we arrived the sheets had stains on them .We requested clean sheets and the lady at the front desk stated that she didnt have access to get us clean sheets,and the room smells horrible. We purchased our own sheets , air freshener and cleaning supplies to be able to stay in the room.They only cleaned the room once while we were there.If you dont mind either bring or buy more suppliesto make your stay manageable the yes this location serves its purpose some where to stay.

Holes in the walls. Dead bug laying on top of the bed. Nobody was available to change my blankets and sheets. enough toilet paper, also couldn't find anyone to replace them. There were cockroaches in the room crawling in the bathroom. I took a video and showed it to management. They offered to switch my room. Friendliness was poor. There were complaints of loud noise but instead of asking us to turn the volume down, they Banged on the door after the music was turned off and threatened to call the cops while screaming in our face. Next day they threatened to kick us out again because someone complained although everyone was asleep and only my phone speaker was being. There were multiple piles of feces outside in the parking lot. Hard to control temperature. TVs did not work and kept shutting off. Outer lights non stop blinking into the windows at night. All around a terrible experience.
The price was nice
