Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United States"Deluxe" room had no towel rack, & a broken TP holder. Property failed to inform us that that do not bring clean towels to our rooms; they only offer them between 0900-1600, the time guests are most likely to be gone. Our requested adjacent rooms were anything but. One room lacked the promised double beds. Rooms 214 and 233 smelled of smokers.
WiFi worked. Room *was* clean, but...

United StatesI asked the staff to change my linen because I was gonna be their for 4 days. They said they would but didn't. Never stayed at a hotel that when I asked to change linen just ignored the request.
Room was clean TV was fine. Refrigerator didn't work microwave was fine and clean.

United StatesChecked in...was quick and easy then got to my room and my door handle was broke on the inside...was going to deal with it till my son got locked in the room and couldn't get out. Front desk changed us rooms and she was real nice about it..but...that's a fire hazard. The second room after doing our checking around the room....the smoke detector is not even hooked up.... another fire hazard. Other than that... This place was decent and pretty clean

United StatesWe had to switch rooms multiple time. Room 1 No fridge / not clean. Room 2 broken bed. Room 3 broken air conditioner/ bad smell/ lock was messed up. Room4 had most things but smelled like cigarettes and comforter was dirty and found blood on the sheet

United StatesThe morning clerk was upset that the evening staff made accommodations for the room they had available but didn't charge for the refrigerator and microwave because some of the rooms had no heat I had booked on line when I got there they accommodate me with what they had available for the same price I booked on line I had stayed almost a week until she was trying to charge me the full amount of the room I had I tried to explain there was no heat in the room I had booked she had a ugly adittude
