Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe elevator into the lobby from the parking garage smelled like horses both days we were on property. That was strange!!! Also the room we initially checked in to had a clicking noise in the wall near the HVAC return. Once reported they did allow us to move to another room.
Location is good. Many options right outside the door to walk to.

United StatesThat we had to go home!
Service throughout the stay and more notably, during breakfast, was phenomenal. The location was perfect for our needs and the view of the North Hills area was great.

PanamaLocation, location! The hotel's prime spot within this open concept mall made our stay incredibly convenient. The real star of our experience was David at the front desk. Despite our late arrival after a long flight, he went above and beyond to assist us, even granting a late check-out for the following day – a testament to what customer service is all about. Furthermore, the rooms were not only conveniently located but also comfortable, providing us with a relaxing retreat after our journey. Overall, our stay was made memorable by the thoughtful service, excelent location, and cozy accommodations.

United StatesNo balcony in all the rooms, no one notified us that there was a tv in the mirror in the bathroom, so we missed out on that experience. No microwave in the rooms for all that money. No indoor pool/spa anymore. False picture advertising online.
I liked the location.

United StatesThe price for the value is way out of pocket. Should have been a 200 a night hotel, my bill should have been 675 ish with taxes, not 884
The price for this hotel was kind of expensive. Its Raleigh, not Los Angeles

United StatesI booked on booking.com for my wedding day and honeymoon stay. I requested for my room to be turned into a honeymoon suite which they said they could accommodate and we returned to a regular room. we were disappointed to say the least. I inquired with the front desk and the property said they booking.com never relayed that message to them. And the never offered to do anything to assist.

United StatesSome fixes in the bathroom needed. No place to hang towels in the bathroom. Only one hook on the shower door that was broken. Toilet ran for 2 minutes in order to fill the tank. A guard was missing on the bottom of the shower door causing water to run out on the tiles and into the hallway. No place to sit other than the bed. The "chair" was so uncomfortable. Good concept with an attached table, but not as the only other place to sit in the entire room.
The location was perfect. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Free parking under the hotel was very convenient. Staff was wonderful. Jets in the shower were amazing. Bed is sooo comfortable!

United StatesI think the bar was pretty pricey for what was offered. The drinks were good but right outside you could get the same quality for 30% cheaper. I think they should think about that menu more.
The breakfast was great and the buffet was amazing. There were lots of options so vegetarians will be able to eat. The made to order omelette was phenomenal definitely worth the cost for the voucher in my opinion.

United StatesRoom showed some wear and tear that I did not expect for a 4* hotel. Hotel also sits in what is called a new development 'North Hills', which is ok for those who like new satellite developments far from the town, but makes it a less convenient option for those who want to explore Raleigh.
Worth noting are the friendly welcome and service at the reception, the free parking, as well as the convenient size of the room. I also welcomed complimentary use of umbrellas and the generally pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.
