Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe gym was only machines and no weights, mats or space to do other types of workouts. The first night I was there there was only one towel in the bathroom. The next day when I saw the cleaning person I requested a bath mat, hand towel and washcloth. She provided those for me.
the room was fair and the staff was nice. It was also nice to have a light breakfast and snacks available.

United StatesI was told my room would have a bathtub and it did not: the closet / wardrobe bar is very low and you can't hang a full length coat or dress, the carpet has seen better days. it was a little under the standard of Holiday Inn I'm used to, but it was clean! Hot water was good!
The front desk employee was wonderful, warm , professional, she was A++++ The bed was clean and comfortable, I liked that you could adjust the thermostat, the in room coffee is a real bonus. the location is great for wall street. I loved that you can open the window two inches for ventilation since Covid is still circulating.

United KingdomI was in a double room on the 11th floor - room 1103. The beds were comfortable but the room was too small for 3 people. The reception area is small as well. There was also mold in the shower area. On the first day, our sink was blocked and the water was running down too slowly so we had to call someone at reception, but that person only used a plunger, no product. So the sink was blocked for the whole stay. Also, no you will not have a nice view - we had a view of another building, a really close view, so if you don't close your blinds you can see each other. I would say that you can spend a few days there, not a whole week though , I would not recommend.
The staff was welcoming. They also had snack at reception free of charge, if you wake up early enough to grab some. The beds were comfortable. I would say that you can spend a few days there, not a whole week though.
