Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe lighting was very dim, outdated as far as brightness. Our immediate pool was out of order so we had to make a short walk to the neighboring pool and our stove was pretty dirty.
The property was pretty decent for the price we paid. Our room was very spacious for our family as well. Location of our hotel was very convenient and short distance to a variety business and restaurants.

United StatesThe water in the shower took too long to heat up. I turned it on, for five minutes and it was still cold. So I went outside to the parking lot to get something. Then when I returned it was still cool, not hot.

United StatesYou had to swipe your room key to get through the gates, my room keys kept voiding as they can't be next to a cell phone or anything magnetic, so I had to keep going back to the front desk to get into the parking area.
I liked the gated area, I felt safe inside and my car protected. I liked the set up of the room, it felt like being in an apartment versus in a hotel room. The breakfast was really good and a lot of options.

Contacted Residence Inn twice about the over charge and was told that they will refund my money. Have yet to receive said refund. I am not happy about them lying to me twice about the refund.

I liked how it's near many restaurants, down the road from Kamp Houston, prospect park, and other major establishments along with a Kroger in front of hotel.

United StatesFrom the start, I paid for and reserved the room days in advance. Arrived to this town and was told that the room wasn’t available and there was nothing they could do to accommodate us. The clerk at the front desk was very rude. I asked if there was a different room that could accommodate us with and was told “I definitely can’t do that” I was told to go to the booking website and request a refund which wouldn’t be available for 7-12 business days. We waited over an hour and was finally told that there was a room but we needed to wait for it to be cleaned. The cleaning was rushed because the dishwasher was running when we made it to the room. Some utensils were still dirty. The towels were full of hair and there was urine on the floor around the toilet. Not to mention the tub had not been cleaned at all. I would NEVER book at this location ever again and wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to stay at this property. Do better!!

United StatesI had booked a two bedroom suite for our stay. When I arrived to the hotel I was told that they over booked and sorry. That’s it. We had to end up paying for two rooms which came out more than what our booking was for. Went down to breakfast the next morning and the food was horrible oatmeal was not cooked correctly, the meat seemed half done, no waffle maker just some hard waffles in a bag no microwave to warm up the cold food. The front desk lady had no care in the world about our room being over booked.
