I didn't like how dark it was when I took a shower. Even with the bathroom light on, it was dark in there. The step up into the shower over the tub edge was a little high, but my sister and I both managed.

Check in was a complete breeze! It was fast, easy, and self-service. We honestly didn't know if the description online was accurate and updated or not, but when we arrived, we realized that it was exactly as described. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Since it was a little cold, we turned on the unit and the fireplace. That was a mistake because it got too hot. The fireplace was more than enough to keep it warm. It was very quiet and peaceful. No one bothered anyone else, there wasn't much noise, and even though we knew others were staying there, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The balcony was a very nice surprise because it was also quiet. Nikki, our housekeeper was great: without disturbing me or my sister or anything in the room, she cleaned and left fresh towels. We didn't have to ask her for anything. She saw what we needed and delivered. There are SO many places in walking distance and much to do. We stayed for two nights, but we'd go back and book here for longer. Sevierville is a hop, skip, and a jump away and Gatlinburg is no more than 30 minutes out. If you plan to go to Margaritaville, either plan on walking or factor in time to park and ride the trolley for free. As far as we could tell, there isn't any transportation similar to that from and back to the hotel.

We will defiantly stay here again. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that says they are coming to your area to stay here. Beds where great. Furniture was beyond perfect. Clean. Shower was great. Balcony was a nice touch to sit and listen to the water from the creek running.

We didn’t get in until late at night and the remote to the tv didn’t work because batteries were dead. We did call for help very late at night but, we thought we were doing sthing wrong with the tv and never dreamed the remote batteries were dead. We Got a call from the staff the next day and don’t think they were pleased that we had called them so late at night.

We love the location. Our room was so cozy and clean. We loved our fireplace and relaxed on our lovely balcony. We’ve Stayed there before and will be staying again.

The coffee for the coffee maker was subpar. They only had raw sugar, no other sweetener option, and the creamer was powder.

The location was great for walking, and the room was updated,clean, and comfortable.

Front entrance was tricky to find. Called the front desk and the lady said we were in front of it. Turns out you have to go down an entrance way to the office (yet you don't go in the office) and the elevator is around the corner. Chairs were stacked on the balcony walkway to the room's doors. Even a plunger was on the balcony.

The room was comfortable and clean. The location was good. Race track in front of the motel didn't bother us. If it hadn't been raining and cold it would have been nice sitting on the balcony overlooking the river

Bed and pillows were OK, but I like a little more fluffiness, but thats just personal taste. I didn't like the car mirror placards with room numbers. While I saw other hotels use these as well, and understand the concept and ease for the hotels, they give out information that bad guys could use,especially if forgotten to take down while out and about. (Tourists... just take these down when you get into your vehicle for the day!)

We really appreciated the privacy given, we're able to just have towels swapped and trash taken as needed.
