Restaurant not enough on menu

While the public areas had a luxury feel this feeling was not reflected in the room we stayed in. We felt the room furnishings were functional rather than luxurious. While the room was clean ,comfortable and well maintained the furniture and fittings including the bathroom looked dated.

Ideally located for exploring Chicago. There were many restaurants and bars within an easy walk of the property. Our room was large and spacious. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing really, breakfast was included but was a la carte in a restaurant separate from the hotel.

The room was very spacious with a lovely view. The bathroom had everything one needs, and I could relax in a real bath instead of shower! Neighbourhood was lively but quiet enough in the evening to sleep.

Both during my check-in and check-out times, there was only 1 person working the front desk. It was a long delay both times before it was my turn. There should never be just one person. Also, there is no refrigerator in the rooms, so I couldn't bring dairy leftovers. I did bring some pastries back that were thrown out by housekeeping, although they were inside a paper bag on the counter, and not on the floor by trash. I was very surprised and disappointed that my pastries were thrown out.

The location is great. It's a block away from the Grand Red Line stop. Walkable to all things downtown Chicago. The facility is clean. My room had bottom to top windows so the views were great!

The rooftop bar was closed for the season and the street noise was loud.

Location is perfect. The street noise is a little loud if you are a light sleeper. The beds are comfortable but a little firm. The air conditioner wasn’t working one night but overall a good stay

Off-site parking is really the only negative

Amazing staff who went out of their way to accommodate even simple requests. The doorman had a little gift bag for my 3yo daughter as we got on the elevator and the front desk staff was so friendly. Breakfast in CBR was delicious and Edgar provided us with a great service experience!

No mini fridge or microwave in the room which turned into a major inconvenience while traveling with a small child. We couldn’t switch our original reservation so had to cancel the booking and reschedule a different way.

I didn’t like the dust in the rooms, the ripped headboard, and the restaurant being closed.

I loved the size of the rooms, the location and how quiet it was.

The parking situation really sucked. We didn't expect to park off-site and to have to pay $50 for overnight parking. We asked about parking validation, and it seemed that the front-desk worker was trying to sell us some sort of parking pass for the day that was $65. We were confused by that.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Facility was very clean.

Gorgeous Rooms with city views. Beautiful decorated. Also, very clean. The food in the restaurant was amazing - and the staff made breakfast worth going to each day as they were so friendly and welcoming. Did I mention how good the food is?!

I think for the price, complimentary breakfast should be included, at least cereal, fruit, and bagels. I wouldn't say I liked the checkout time. It should be between 12 pm-2 pm; usually, when someone stays at a hotel, it's a getaway.

I liked the size of the suite; the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was big, and it included a jacuzzi.
