I loved the spaciousness of the room and the location of the hotel. It was great there was a free wine hour. The customer service is above par. This is a great hotel and great location.

I had a wondertul 6-day stay at the Sonesta in Dupont Circle. The hotel is located in a trendy and vibrant neighborhood, with easy access to the metro and many attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the restaurant selection in the area. The restaurant Certo! served delicious Italian dishes and had a great wine selection. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Washington DC.

the restaurant was closed at the end of our stay because of renovations. the indoor pool is seasonal, so it was closed.

it was clean, bright, and in an excellent location. the staff were fantastic! the food in the restaurant was exceptional.

One thing I didn’t like about my room it felt like it was colder in my room than it was outside and every time I try to put on the heat I will get a blast cold air coming from the vents so I turned off my fan every night.

One thing I like about the property. It was close to most bars, night clubs, and food areas so you always has something to do.

It was a bit noisy with the room next door that had a child, so perhaps there could be better soundproofing between rooms.

We heartily enjoyed staying here. The Manager was fabulous to welcome us and upgrade our room to a King with a street view. The hotel is colorful, fun, in a great location and convenient to transit and many restaurants, bars and bookstores. At a very reasonable price, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And - wine hour at 5 pm!

I travel a lot and have been to many hotels to make reviews etc. I checked in walked around and staff members (lady) asked can she help me. I replied just checked in and looking around. A few minutes ladder she was flowing me around the other side of the bar as if she didn’t trust me. I felt that I was being profiled. Also, while checking out my grind went to get coffee and a staff member asked if she was staying there. She mentioned no one else was asked that. She said that she replied, should I answer that. I feel that they need to treat customers as customers and not as if they aren’t supposed to be there. Other then that it was a nice stay. I’ve been to lots of hotels and resorts that was actually better and treated better as well.

The decor and colors were nice. Clean rooms and friendly front desk staff and valet guy was also very pleasant.

I asked for housekeeping but did not get it the first day. When the housekeeper did come, they did not replace the water/coffee in the room. Also, they charge a Guest Amenity Fee of $30 a day, which I find very expensive for only giving water and doing a so-so job of housekeeping. They did refund me the amenity fee for two days due to the issues I experienced.

Room is well decorated and comfortable. Hotel is well located, near public transit, restaurants and other amenities.

We were charged a daily fee for amenities, including wi-fi and bottles of water. The hotel was not very transparent about this, as with many hotels these days. I wish these items would be included in the publicised daily rates. ... The onsite restaurant was surprisingly limited and very expensive, but our included breakfast was a good value.

Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with thick draperies and comfy sheets. Reception staff were helpful and professional. Wi-fi was reliable. Excellent location.

I never received the two complimentary bottles of water a day. There was no coffee maker, hot tub or stocked mini bar in the room as advertised. There was no room service as advertised. Room service was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The on-site restaurant was closed two of the four days I was there. The safe in the room did not work at all. The bathroom sink clogged up my first night there. The function to order movies or access premium channels on the TV was not working. Overall, I think the price was too high considering I didn’t get half of the amenities promised. The ad listing really needs to be edited, because this is false advertising.

The staff and room were both very nice. The location in DuPont Circle is excellent.
