Same as before, what is not to like?

As you can tell from the reviews that I've written. I've been in town for a few days, and i've stayed in a few different airbnbs. All three of which were really nice, but if I had to pick the one, it's this one. School 31. I won't bore you with my history in Rochester, but suffice it to say that I've been walking by some of these buildings since the early nineties. This particular building is one that I had noticed a long time ago. And it is an actual school built in a brutalist style of nineteen thirties.

By far the coolest property in Rochester, my goto choice when I visit. Great location, great style. Beds have a tendency to be quite soft.

The second bed in the loft was very hard to get to. It also over looked the bathroom and there was no privacy. I was woken up every time someone used the bathroom.

Large units with lots of living space.

The accommodations were fun and quirky. The bed was comfortable. We had a bit of a problem with the room at check in, but the staff was very responsive in correcting the issues and we very much enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return the next time we find ourselves in Rochester!

You can definitely tell it's an older building. Everything constantly creaked, the AC was very loud, the hot water tank pipes also very loud, and you could hear a lot of outside noise. Made it kinda hard to get a good night's sleep. However, considering the price was the same as a regular hotel, I'd stay here again.

The room was beautiful and I loved the big jacuzzi soaker tub. I absolutely love the size of the apartment and how vintage it was. Bed was VERY comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay, despite the bed. It was a very unique place to stay, and pet friendly!

Although our apartment had a king-size bed, it was unfortunately not comfortable. The mattress was not very supportive for someone with back issues like myself. It was squeaky when either myself or my spouse moved or rolled over. You sort of sank towards the middle of the bed at times. The pillows were too soft and unsupportive for my liking so I did go out and buy one so that I could sleep better the second night.

It had a very cool vibe. I love how this old school has been converted into really amazing apartments, each uniquely designed and decorated. Our apartment was very spacious. We were happy to have a full kitchen to use. I would suggest the addition of a microwave. The tall ceilings and windows were great. It was very clean, open and spacious. The location was very good too. I am a teacher, so the old chalkboards on the walls were very cool. We needed a pet friendly accommodation and this fit the bill, and with no extra charges for a pet, which is fantastic. I would recommend this place to family and friends. Communication with School 31 Lofts was easy and convenient through text messages.

Kinda a dark area/street at night.

Old but cute look. Located close to auditorium(in walking distance). Restaurants, bars and convenient store near by. Doors were all secured to building and rooms.

for the size of the room (a class room, refurbished) they could have had a larger table to eat at. Other than that, no complaints. Oh the heater is really loud. Would recommend they switch to mini splits.

It's located in a real sweet spot of Rochester and has a beautiful retro vibe will definitely come back
