Nothing not to like- but if I had to pick something it would be the bathrooms being a bit small but very well appointed!!

Love the ambiance and the staff is always friendly and accommodating, from those in lobby, housekeeping and Valet (xtra amazing). The location is excellent!! This is my go to hotel when in San Francisco!!!

The first time we stayed we did not have a high room and we faced Powell St. and there was quite a bit of street noise.

It was very pretty - the staff were great and the location was very convenient.

The hotel is well located. The staff is really kind. Room size is good except the bathroom which could be greater.

Gym is basic, if you like to exercise, is a basic one comparing to other "big hotels". It's noisy because of the street cable system for the cable cars, so indeed you feel like you are in an airplane.

Room was clean and spacious, and bed was amazing, like super good, specially in SF where there's not a lot to do, it was good to sleep more.

While the price of the stay was very good value, the bar (both drinks and food) was quite pricy.

Excellent location in the city centre of SF. The design of the lobby and restoration of old features of the property gave it a very nice feel and aesthetic in the common areas. The hotel room was functional and clean. The bed was one of the nicest and most comfortable I’ve slept in for a long time. Really nice duvets and mattress.

The restaurant, which is located in the hotel, unfortunately does not match the quality of the rest of the hotel. The staff were sometimes unfriendly and the price-performance ratio was rather disappointing but there are countless good restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel definitely has the charm of the old days from the outside and in the public areas but the rooms were modernized and tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our impression was as expected! despite a minor inconvenience while checking in since the room we got was too small and noisy, the receptionist Monica did a great job in providing a better alternative. We really enjoyed our stay and visit to San Francisco, and would repeat it again if possible.

We arrived just before baby's bedtime and had requested a cot . Cot was not in room on arrival, and our bags took a long time to come up. And when they did arrive half were missing, they arrived shortly afterwards. Made for a stressful bedtime. Dust under the desk, wouldn't notice unless on the floor like I was with the baby Delay leaving as the valet due to not tell the front desk our car has arrived, then he forgot he hadn't given us the keys once bags and baby were loaded.

Room was a good size, comfy big bed, quality bathroom. Great black out blinds. Cot arrived made up with sheets.

The bathroom was a bit small and water was flooding the bathroom when you shower as the glass panel only covered half the shower. I understand the alcohol rule but it was unfortunate that they didn't allow the kids to go inside the bar area to enjoy the city view since we came from afar.

We got early checked in after a long haul flight so it was really nice and appreciated! The staff was nice.

I thought the twilight top deck was some sort of star observation deck and got the kids excited to check out the stars, but it was a night club. Lol

Nick on the overnight shift was amazing. The valet staff were very accommodating. My girls got treasure box from the gentleman at check in. Everyone was very welcoming and kind.

The rooms were cramped, a little small

The location was bang in the center of downtown, close to Chinatown. The room had nice fixtures, the coffee was really good The hotel had a nice, comfortable feel about it

We loved everything about this hotel! Beautiful rooms, exceptional service from all the staff and perfect location in the city to get out and see the sights easily There was a particular staff member who I'm failing to remember the name of but he was guest relations and went above and beyond helping us with an issue we'd had a previous hotel earlier in our trip

One small negative - we didn't know of the full amenities and didn't know there was a restaurant at the top of the hotel, which we learned only later from friends and they said the view is terrific. So we missed out on that.

Beds were very comfortable and linens were nice quality. Room was just very pleasant. The tone of the stay was positive from the point of arrival to departure. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous. We had drinks in their bar-lounge area one night before heading to a baseball game and the staff there were very friendly, yet professional. We went back and had friends meet us for drinks and dinner there. Location is excellent. We had breakfast daily across the street at the famous and always good Sears Fine Dining.

Nothing, everything was great!

The hotel is in an amazing location, the room was small but very comfortable and pretty, and the hotel itself is just absolutely wonderful.
