The resort is directly on the beach and beach chairs and umbrella's were provided by the resort and beach services. The beach was clean and nice. They also had lifeguard services. The pool area was very nice and inviting. They had an outdoor bar and food service menu. The bar staff was attentive to the guest. The room was clean and quite for the most part. We were next to rooms that were still being remodeled and that was noisy during the day. I thought the resort should have provided a bit of a discount for this inconvenience. The plus was that the resort staff was excellent.

They said the room would be decorated for the birthday. It wasn't it was a cake. There was a dead bug on the pillow made me understand at first.

The staff was nice. The place was clean..the renovations didn't affect us.

In general the staff was very friendly and professional. Then there are the exceptions that sabotage the good work that other staff do so well. They are rude, not motivated and for them it is most laborious to give service to a customer. Also the little work they do, they do it badly. While writing this review, I realize that their behavior is so bad that you have to really motivate yourself not to neglect the good performance of others. A pity !

The hotel is newly renovated and is pleasant and location is great with the beach close by. Restaurant was surprisingly with a good menu for breakfast and diner. We had delicious food at diner and we ate there three times! The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, specially from the menu was also very tasty. We also loved the pool , the commodities there and the beach: Just wonderful, one can walk for miles on the beautiful strand.

Not much of restaurant. Room was not ready, to wait until 530 to get into room. They did comp us breakfast but it was just a buffet.

The pillows in the room were very uncomfortable. There was a load clicking noise every time the air kicked on. The breakfast food was not very good and the menu needed more choices.

I loved how the resort was centrally located to so many attractions. The staff was so friendly. I loved the service by the pool and the easy beach access.

The waitresses in restaurant were not friendly. Housekeeping was loud first thing in the am 7am. Lots of construction noise before business/working hours. They were hammering before 7 am.

We were not fans of the worn out, hard and uncomfortable bed! It was horrible. The sink in the bathroom was partially stopped up. The refrigerator was unable to keep our water cold which led to ice runs.

The staff was great, enjoyed the gift shop, restaurant, and how beautiful the grounds were. Located near tons of shops and other places to eat. Most popular was how close the beach access was, we enjoyed taking pics at night on the beach of the sun setting and the moon rising. It took only a minute or two to get to the beach and was convenient and safe walking back after dark. It was my wife's birthday vacation, and the staff made sure to upgrade our room, have her a birthday card, bottle of wine, and chocolate dipped strawberries in the room when we arrived. Even though there were things that was not as good, we would definitely have Sonesta in mind for our visit next year.

Had to pay for on site bike rental and use of beach chairs. With all the extra fees, bikes and beach chairs should be included. Tiki Bar and pool bar closed at 4:30. Should stay open until sunset.

The bed was really uncomfortable. Some of the prices at the outdoor restaurant/bar area are very expensive.
