Prior to our stay, the hotel staff informed us to call once we had our baggage and they would send the shuttle. However, the truth is that the shuttle only goes to the airport once an hour, on the hour. I called once I had my bags and was told that they would let the shuttle driver know. 45 minutes later, the driver arrived at the designated spot, acknowledged my wave, stopped, then pulled away without picking us up. I immediately called the hotel who spoke with the driver and he was sent back to pick us up. However, we know had to go to a different loading area. We had already been waiting outside for well over an hour in 100 degree temps. Had the hotel been forthright with the information from the start, we simply would have waited inside until closer to his actual arrival time. We contemplated using the shuttle to go for dinner, but given the prior experience, we were afraid to rely on it to actually pick us up afterward. The other issue we had was that despite setting the a/c temp lower, the room would only cool to 72 degrees. I prefer to sleep in a colder room, but it appears that setting the thermostat to the desired temp does nothing. Also, we reserved a shuttle to the port prior to our arrival for 10am. Our names were the first on the list for that time slot. However, the shuttle arrived after 10am, and several other party members were loaded before us. We were then told that two more shuttles were "on the way". We ended up being the last party picked up and it was almost 11:30. If we have shuttle reservations for 10am, then we should be picked up at/near that time and those who made their reservations AFTER us should have been loaded AFTER us. There needs to be better communications with the port shuttle service and a more formal process should be in place.

The room was bigger than I had anticipated and slept the three of us very comfortably. The breakfast buffet was very good and there were many options to choose from. The hotel staff were friendly. Check in and check out went quickly. The lobby bar was great and poured a good drink!

Staff was nice. I got in super early for a cruise and was hoping for a room but they were all booked. They did offer to keep our luggage while we got a bite to eat. They also offered a cruise shuttle for a small fee instead of having to take an uber.

The airport shuttle was a disaster, first time it drove straight past, second was an HOUR later.

Ideal for one night stopover after flying in, a bit isolated for a full Miami break. It did though feel like the holiday started at the hotel - not just a bed for the night.

I payed a deposit of 25$ when I checked in. I still haven't gotten this money back, even though we left the room spotless and it's been a month since checking out. Nobody is answering my messages concerning the deposit. There was no dishes for breakfast, everything was plastic and paper.
