How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hot tub not hot Smoke smell on the 2nd floor Tv smallish People living there. We were given a key to a room someone clearly lived in. I asked do people live here? I was told oh yes ! How did u know we're you here before an saw the same people. Weird!!!!

Only issue for us is that we prefer a king bed, not a queen.
Breakfast was handled well. The waitress asked us what we preferred and then prepared it . Whole area was very clean, and the staff was friendly.

It would have been nice if the room was regularly cleaned and sheets changed. We made some considerations because of covid constraints.
Breakfast was decent. The room was comfortably clean. It was home away from home.

The breakfasts were aweful - omelettes were like rubber, 'fried' eggs were not of this world. Sausages were disgusting.

I loved everything
Although staybridge is right off the highway, I love that once your on the property, you feel like your on a gateway on an island somewhere. Karim is by far one of the most welcoming and helpful person I’d had to pleasure of helping me. thank you

It started off a bit rough. Received a call the day of arrival from the hotel to find out that they overbooked and had to cancel our two rooms. Luckily they were able to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suite and it all worked out perfect!
Location was perfect! We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner in the shopping center directly next door. The rooms were very clean and super cozy. The breakfast was buffet style and was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had! The room was fully stocked with everything we needed. If I'm traveling this way again in the future I'll definitely stay here again!

I didn't like the parking lot - its long and narrow and a ways to walk by myself when I had to go to or from my car at night. I felt vulnerable. I prefer parking lots that are well lit and near the main doors of the property.
Breakfast was fine considering the restrictions for the pandemic. The hotel gives an extra effort to feed their guests. I liked that my 7lb dog was welcome and the friendly staff all were happy to see him. They also had pizza for the guests the night I arrived. The hotel itself is very nice.

Staff was not very accommodating. We drove overnight and wanted to check in and were kind of blown off by front desk staff. I understand that the hotel was having technical difficulties that made checking in impossible, but we were told to come back later. And only after being proactive and asking a couple more times did the front desk staff help us. We were still told to come back 45 minutes- 1 hour later to check in when we had booked the room specifically because we were traveling overnight and wanted to have a place to rest upon arrival. We booked the night prior to assure an early check in. They did not offer us anything while we waited or for our delay. It felt like a waste of booking the night before as that was the whole point was being able to check in upon arrival.
Room was clean. Kitchen was helpful.

I called 5 times check about the pool spa and food they lied and stay everything open and just hot breakfast no pool or hot tub they charge us extra 400 and said 350 was for deposit and should be returned in 3/5 days

Wanted to use the pool, but it was down for repairs. Stayed 2 separate times- 2 months apart and pool was still down.
It was a nice size room with enough space for all our stuff. The room was very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Will stay with them again
