This was our first time at Stoney Creek! The experience was top notch from the desk clerk, the cleanliness of room, and a spectacular breakfast. We intend to make this our "home base" when we visit the family from now on.

The breakfast area could use more seating, we had to eat in our room as there wasn’t anything open. The pillows were not the most comfortable and an extra blanket would’ve been great but minor complaints due to all of the good things we enjoyed.

We are returning customers for Stoney Creek. The rooms are always huge and very cozy. We love the option of the hot tub in the room. Makes relaxing on vacation even better! The breakfast is delicious! Staff is friendly and lots of great nearby restaurants and places to go.

Very dirty outdated hotel. The pictures online are very old. Upon room inspection I pulled back the sheets like I always do and found they were covered in stains and hair. The manager told me himself that they don’t change the bottom sheets after each stay and only the top ones and this is what he has done in the past 6 years of hotel management and claims all hotels do this. This hotel is very outdated and dirty. You can tell they do not vacuum the rooms or clean the counters. The floors were covered in candy stains and even baby wipes and the counters still had sugar on the counter and don’t get me started on what u find behind the furniture! For 150 a night u would think that they would put more effort into cleaning up the place!!! We looked at 3 rooms before I finally decided on a room that was acceptable and only bc he brought me clean sheets for the bed! Also they don’t tell you that if you pay with card they will hold an additional 25 dollars on your account! When we finally found a room that was ok they had to change the smoke detector and that took them a bit of time. The maintenance guy was nice but I could tell the manager didn’t want to deal with it and kept trying to push us in another room. I’m the end we ended up getting our room for free after all the trouble. I’m sure maybe he didn’t want a bad review but here it is.. honestly if they did some upgrades and actually cleaned up the place it would actually be worth the money. The breakfast was decent and the kitchen appeared clean. I’m the end the manager tried to make me happy bc after all it was my birthday but I still believe they should at least clean their dam sheets. Like let’s be fareal who wants to sleep in someone else’s filthy?😕 and this why I always check the sheets no matter what the reviews r online! Check ur bottom sheets people!

They double booked me because I booked it through booking.com It then took me an hour conversation on the phone and multiple emails to get my card reimbursed because the hotel and booking.com both charged me.

There was trash everywhere. There was a hole in our bathroom floor.

Upon entering I noticed that the garbage can outside was overflowing. There was trash on the steps. There were cups that remained on tables in the common area during our whole stay.

The breakfast was lacking, but I don’t eat breakfast anyway, so not really a big deal to me.

Fun, happy desk clerks make for a much better check in. They honored our ridiculous special request and we ALL had a good laugh over it. Jayme went above and beyond! We only spent about 5 minutes with her- but already love her! Comfy beds, spacious all that.

Got a call at 4am don't know why I was called at 4am. Didn't ask for a wake up call. Kids were running up and down Hall at midnight. Hot tub had kids under 14 so couldn't use. People had food and alcohol in the pool area no staff around to tell them to get it our. Bed us lumpy. Pillows were either to flat or to fat. Canceled my reservation for Sept.

Our room was very basic. And the bathroom had spots that weren't cleaned very good with lots of hair and no laundry bag or water cups and a used coffee pod left in the coffee pot

Spring break, I was on the same level as the pool. Very loud kids screaming way too loud and running in the hallway. I get it they are on break but not respect for other guest. Staff could have managed them better
