There was a lot of noise coming from the corridor during the night, no possibility to open the windows which is not ideal in a flat that has cooking facilities, not as clean as I was expecting it to be, no other facilities

The only downside was the difficulty in having hot water at the start of the stay as well as the automatic heating of the rooms which is very high with no possibility of lowering it except by opening the windows, plan ahead!

Yulia was very attentive and often asked if we needed anything. the accommodation itself corresponds to the photos, we traveled as a group of 5 and despite the small size of the room we spent a pleasant 8 days. The most famous places of manhattan can be done by feet or with Subway, its always a matter of 10 or 15 mn so its very good. You have everything around from broadway, madison square garden to time square. Plan some money if you want to wash your clothes ! It can be expensive.

A small bit stuffy, but that was a minor thing. There was aircon

It was very central, a few minutes walk from the subway and Macy's. Beds were comfortable and it was great to have a kettle and fridge. Very clean.

The two double beds were actually stacked or bunk beds. We didn’t sign up for bunk beds and wouldn’t have stayed if we knew we were getting bunk beds. I found that to be deceptive. The additional single sized mattress in the small room had a metal support bar running along its length that made it extremely uncomfortable. We could not get our TV to work at all. There were no instruction on how to get it to work. We were stumped by this even though both of us are comfortable with technology operating our home TVs using various remotes. The table in the room was a drop leaf table. One of the leaves could not be supported and the second drop leaf was wobbly. We payed dearly for this room and the quality did meet our reasonable expectations.

The property was close to Penn Station, subway lines, Times Square, Macy’s, theatres and lots of restaurants. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, a four burner cook top, a kettle and microwave and a full sized refrigerator as well as dishes. There was a small table to eat at.

As a visitor to New York, we expected to need to be flexible in terms of standards and what is reasonable for a lot of money spent- we were only 4 adults (not the maximum 6) but even so the loft was very cramped. In any other city this room may be for two adults and maybe a max of 2 small kids. It almost felt like we were doing the building a favour by being there… or that we were guests that weren’t actually paying for the specific service. That being said we had such fabulous service from Siyanda and Gladelys that it was much easier to grin and bear all the small inconveniences and unusual ways of travelling to New York on a foreign middle class budget. (Like having to move your things to be able to sit or walk in the room, not really knowing where to put your towels so they will dry, washing your dishes at your departure and taking out the trash before you leave).

By far the highlight of staying here was the great service we got from Siyanda at Front Desk and Gladelys who was our concierge. Warm and friendly, they helped us feel comfortable and at home.

Was one elevator, we were with 4 kids, so I need to use the elevator. One day was broken so we had to find out how to get downstairs and it was really difficult to find this way out. Also, the bathroom was not perfectly clean , some yellow spots in the shower cabin .

The location was perfect , near by to Times Square from where you can walk everywhere , the kitchen was completely so you can make your food if you like , a huge refrigerator , a hair dryer , iron .

The blind of the window didn't work and some light came through the night. It was a bit hot. The shower has mould.

The location is amazing. It was really easy to move around Manhattan. It was warm and cozy. The owner was really nice and contacted us through our stay to advise or give us notices about the building

Absolutely fantastic location! The apartment was very clean, quiet, and the perfect place to stay for a few busy days in the city when we wanted to get as much sightseeing done as possible. There is a Dunkin' Donuts one block over (3-5 min walk) for a quick morning coffee although the apartment has a coffee maker and supplies if you want to make your own breakfast/coffee. The main strip of Korea Town is one street over (also a 3-5 min walk) that has numerous restaurants and a grocery store. One of the main subway stations is about a block away as well-- we used it to access everything from Broadway, Times Square, Central Park, and the Battery for Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty tours. Definitely made a quick trip to New York affordable and far more efficient than staying farther away from everything.

Location okay for walking to key places like Times Square, Empire State Building, etc. Easy to get an Uber to places like Central Park, Hudson Yards, and other important places to stay in NYC.

The room had few german cockroaches, which was not very pleasant whle you stay with kids but overall its not too bad. Lack of room service was done.
