Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NO BREAKFAST unless you wish to upgrade the non existent breakfast to a buffet at $8 each in the local restaurant. I hate it when breakfast is advertised and is not available. TV remote did not work, kept freezing.

United StatesThere were things that needed attention. The toilet need to be looked at, it took at least 10 minutes to fill, the bath tub had a soft spot in the floor and felt like it was going to break just standing in it.
There was no breakfast, it was advertised as a free breakfast, but there was none.

The people were friendly and very helpful. I forgot my key and they let me have another. I cut my trip short and they gave me a refund.

United StatesThis experience has only solidified that I will now ALWAYS request to see the room 1st. Especially when there is a sign at the desk that says there are no refunds. I had booked a room online and just had to check in. Upon entry, all good in room 111. THEN as we put our stuff down and started pulling stuff out of our bags and looking around. I don't mind older aged hotels/rooms if they have been maintained and are clean. NEITHER of which were the case in this room. 1st check was the bathroom. I turned on both switches only to get a noisy fan that was hanging a couple inches from the ceiling where it should have been and a light over the shower. Also a hole in the sagging popcorn ceiling to release the obvious water damage through. YUCK! And creepy, is there anything up in that hole? 2 more occupants to our room were a nice sized spider and another bug. After "disposing" of them and rinsing the tub, I wasn't sure about showering in the tub. Just didn't feel clean enough to me. Looked over at the toilet and the lid and noticed at one point in it's life it had been overly wet and the "wood" had expended a little and paint had chipped and the toilet seat was chipped & worn. Again not feeling like it was real clean. Toilet paper was the VERY end of the roll with no toilet paper in site or in cabinets or closets and no tissues in the holder either. Low and behold, no towels, washcloths or extra pillow. We were really questioning taking a shower which had been our plan prior to seeing the state of the bathroom, the next morning. My sister looked over the night stand with the prop telephone on it and found the " alarm" clock and a sock!! The sock could actually be seen by just standing between the 2 beds. Sister freaks and then we start looking at the floor. At the foot of my bed, sticking out just a little from the bed skirt is the socks partner. I kicked it out into the open area and out of the way.
The front desk lady was nice and answered questions.The fact it was 12:30 am when we checked in, I was tickled she wasn't a grouchy person! Hence the stars review. I believe she must be the manager. She sent her coworker man to check a room for us to see if it was ready. He came back and said it was. We checked in fairly quickly and check out went fairly quickly too but should have since there were no additional charges or anything. This is where the kudos of good ends.

United StatesEverything.. I mean they had people sitting or sleeping in the hallways.. then at 340 am in the morning thus women just knocked on my room door. When I answered it she was sitting next to the door and rocking back and forth .. after that I just left cause there was no one at the desk.
