Our mistake for not reading that this place didn't have a pool. Charging for internet beyond basic. I feel like the price per night was a little high considering they want to charge you for internet and they don't have a pool.

Breakfast was good. The location to the Mall of America and other shopping centers was good. The restaurant next door, JJ's Clubhouse was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel inside and outside looked kept up and good condition.

Sorry they seemed short staffed during the breakfast rush. The only employee worked very fast and hard but management should have had two people working.

Smooth check-in with friendly and professional receptionist. Good breakfast selections. Nice outdoor eating area. Room was spacious. Location was perfect for our family gathering in Golden Valley.

The breakfast serving area was kinda small. Galley kitchen style which I personally don’t like because you feel like you are always on top of other people. The orange juice in the machine was basically water which was unpleasant. And it would’ve been nice if there was someone actually at the little coffee bar they had during breakfast making specialty coffee.

I very much liked the suite with the jacuzzi tub. I really appreciated how the front desk let me know when I checked in what to do if the tub wasn’t working properly. It was a simple fix that I appreciated knowing ahead of time. Very professional staff. I liked the seating areas for breakfast. There was a very nice patio outside. And I liked that I got most of what I wanted for breakfast options. A hot breakfast with good options is hard to find.

The hotel is older, not what I expected from what was shown online.

The checkin with Mr. David Smith. He greeted me as soon as I walked in, and checking in was fast and efficient. There was an issue with the first room assigned, and he corrected the issue right away. Mr Smith is an amazing employee.

Really the only thing I didn't like... Was the coffee. Price was a little higher than I was expecting but with baseball games and basketball games going on. It was foreseeable.

Our receptionist was phenomenal. He was friendly and funny. Took care of us very quickly and made us laugh. Breakfast was always fresh and ready to go. My sister has back and foot issues, so making sure she was able to get into and out of the room and bathroom and no stairs was a must. They took care of all of that for us. Beds were clean and comfortable. We were all very comfortable

We discovered ants in our room the day before we left and although the room was clean and nicely refinished it gave us an uncomfortable feeling about it. Also found it pricey for a basic hotel it was overpriced, staff don’t make up your rooms unless your staying more then 3 nights which I didn’t feel was reasonable for the price we paid.

The location was kind creepy at night. It was kinda hidden and there was no lightening on the road.

Staff changed the name on my reservation to my husband's when I stepped aside to go to the restroom. Sometimes that creates a glitch with booking.com for the client (I know it has no effect on the hotel because they have already been paid ) it's a very small thing on an otherwise excellent experience, and I am sure the staff is not aware of the consequences to the client on the "booking" side.

Very polite staff and clean property. Close to the excellent Good Day cafe. Good mattresses. Easy access. Quiet even with a lot of people. Handicapped room was excellent for me, with my very bad knees.
