First of all, it was a hotel that just had a license from super 8, as the wall sign said, not sure if super 8 knows what is going on there. The wifi was horrible, free wifi, but never worked. The toilet had cracks, the toilet paper roll holder was rusty and had a piece of razor in it, the toilet papers were not new ones. There were just a few toileteries for 3 people (just 1 small shampoo and conditioner, 2 small pieces of soap, nothing else). There was almost nothing for the breakfast, though we came down early, noone was going to add anything. The amount we booked on Booking.com was less than they were going to charge us at place. It is very pricey for the services we got.

It was in a convenient distance from NYC for those who drove from far away.

The room and the breakfast extremely basic. I requested a 2nd chair (2 people in room, 1 chair) Response: no 2nd chair possible. No information in the room re customer service, local restaurants, tv operation (old remote). Breakfast room had no fruit or muffins - just cereal and bread. I did appreciate waffles. Orange juice server was out of order, one of two waffle irons out of order.

Comfortable bed. No outside noise. Friendly staff.

A little noisy in the halls but tolerable, also not enough outlets for cpap patients, will have to bring an extension cord next time.

Rooms were clean and cozy, we decided to stay another nite.

Felt very very unsafe. After getting back to the room around midnight, our key card wasn't working. We waited in the lobby for at least 20 minutes for the employee on shift to come back inside. (Seems like he had left the property) Once explaining our problem we were met with extreme agression and attitude, accusal of not having a room because he didnt see us check in, and he told me sister he would put her out. (Was genuinely hard to tell if he meant physically punch her or kick her out of a room we paid for.) We were polite and did not give him attitude as we were exhausted and just wanted to get in our room. Put small furniture in front of our door, and kept a knife within reach. We were very scared for our safety. Moved hotels and did not stay the next two nights like originally planned. Asked for a refund for our stay as we could hardly sleep because we were scared, and as of right now have been denied the refund. Very very upset.

Minor negative: the rug had stains, some apparently recent. Information booklet in the room would be helpful: about breakfast service, where to go or how to order food, t.v. channels and device operation, heat and ac controls, etc.

The location is excellent for driving into NYC. Night manager was especially polite and helpful. Room and bed comfortable.

Frightened from the minute we pulled into the parking lot. Sketchy area with many sketchy characters loitering about. It took 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk. My husband would not park the car because he was afraid to leave me. The lobby was dated and dirty. No way we were eating breakfast there! The hallway to our room reeked of pot. The one comforter had stains on it. We took that off the bed. The sheets looked clean. The room looked better than the common areas. No one seems to care about this place. We couldn't wait for morning so that we could just leave!

The shower was clogged......the bathroom door was broken......was not replaced but had screws in it....would not close correctly.....breakfast was a joke.....hardly anything there and what was there was broken and/or out of order.

Bad ODOR in room, No electricity, NO CLOCK, coffee maker did not work, 3 pieces of tissue FOR KLEENEX, 3 flat pillows,1 soap no toiletries, NO INTERNET, HAd to come to lobby to get internet@ 12:30 am to check on flight and hotel information to DC. NO Electricity again this morning
