Management needs to pre-check the unit prior to any guest checking in. To make sure everything is working before they check in. It was an huge inconvenience. Very disappointing. Bought cold items to store and was unable to put them in a refrigerated environment instantly. Had to wait awhile. The refrigerator in the unit was not cooling our refreshments. They had to replace (2) refrigerators before we finally got a good one that worked. Next the DVD player did not work when we tried to put a movie into the player...We had to call the management to assist. The instructions were not clear on the unit. Could not follow the instructions. Needed to be more clearer. Also, there was not a "WIFI-code" in the Welcome Packet...Could not access the wi-fi until the last day. Had to contact the management office to ask for the Wi-Fi Code....It was not in the welcome packet. *Also, there was not a welcome basket on the table*...Had to ask for complimentary coffee, complimentary laundry soap and etc...As a suggestion, you might want to create a Guest Checklist to make sure that everything in unit was addressed and accounted*...This would of helped instead of calling the after-hours answering service to leave messages...* No telephone in the unit *...just in case loose cell phones *....No backup plan...Also, no DVD player in the living room...I would of been a nice convenience...***There were not chairs in the bedrooms....It would of been nice to have 1 in the room for sitting down and changing clothes instead of sitting on the mattresses....A complimentary chair would have been nice for convenience. There was no mop in the unit. In case of a water spill....* Thank You for Everything.

The management did their best to address all concerns. Helpful items, movies, towels, complimentary bath soaps, utensils, plates, glasses, trial washing detergent, pots, pans, baking ware, dish towels, measurement cups. Drop box to leave keys..All things iron, board, hangers, vacuum, washer / dryer, broom....

The condo is a bit outdated but clean. Faint smell from previous smoking. Ceiling fans would be a nice upgrade to circulate breeze from the lake.

The location is perfect for anything you need to do around Conroe. The place was quiet and peaceful with a nice view of the lake.

Honestly, everything was awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very spacious and the surrounding grounds were beautiful. The managers who met us for check-in were very kind and welcoming, and we felt safe with the security-guarded entrance. Definitely planning to stay here again.

Unit we we assigned to was not as clean a it should have been. The TV remote did not work properly. The cypher lock n the front door did not work. Threshold strip between master bedroom and bathroom came loose. Front entrance location was extremely dirty. I have come here for several years now and this was my worst experience .

Our room was dated, maybe from the 1980s.But it was clean, convenient and well maintained. Just dated is our only complaint.

The floor had ‘soft’ patches where it felt like the flooring was unstable. Felt like it needed a makeover in terms of safety and furnishings.

Sweetwater is an older property but extremely clean! The only thing that really needed any type of repair was the metal around the steps going up to our apartment!

Sweetwater is located in the community of April Sound! People were friendly and there were many things available to do in the community and around the lake!

Pool is open to the gated community, members off the golf course, and the resort. Problem is the pool is like a can of sardines, but again this is run by the golf course. Also at the pool drink are $10 which is reasonable. What is not reasonable is making you buy a color changing cup that is $10 for the kids just so they can have a non alcoholic drink. There after any refills are only $4 however they could not keep up with the frozen drinks and every time we went to get on for my daughter the were all out or in the process making more. Due to the fact the my significant other for not drink alcohol they tried to make him by a kids color changing cup for $10 and he is 45 years old. FYI they also add 25% services fee. PSA: When staying at this location you have access to use the golf course for free we talked with one man the day before we were gonna leave and set to play that morning. We went in that morning and was told we could not play as we did not have on collared shirts. So please keep in mind if you want to use the golf course you need to wear golf attire.

I loved that the resort is on a golf course and you have access to their facilities as well. However, with that being said most of my issue were with the golf course and not the property. Also, I forgot my luggage. The staff went above and beyond to get it back to me. The got it, took it to UPS and shipped it for me!!!

Nothing. The low mark about the staff was just down to a very rude young man in the golf shop. Really not necessary to be so rude & unhelpful! All the other staff members were amazing.
