The hot tub area around the pool wasn't very inviting & the over perfumed lobby area was quite intense with vanilla. The air conditioning was very noisy in the room.

Great location, on the hop on hop off bus route as well. As the hotel doesn't provide food its easy walking distance to Starbucks, ihop & Denny's.

The whole hotel smells very much of mold and bathroom shower was full of hair from previous clients. They tell you to leave the AC on at all times because of that humidity problem but the AC unit is very loud. The room was very expensive (+$700) for what it is.

Staff was very nice, the pool area is beautiful. The decoration of the room is nice and welcoming.

Bathrooms a bit dated and not particularly attractive. The laminate flooring in our room was bubbled up, probably due to humidity, so it was like walking on a foam mattress. Room air conditioners are noisy.

Good location out of the Key West downtown Duval Street congestion but close enough and just across the N. Roosevelt beach to be convenient and a short drive to Stock Island. Excellent regular shuttle service from the hotel to the harbor and Old Town tourist areas, Very comfortable ambience with a nice pool and landscaping. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet with some thoughtful amenities. Decent value. The rooms could use a little upgrading, especially the bathrooms, but overall clean, restful, and comfortable. The hotel has a pleasant "Cuban Vibe" to it and we would definitely stay here again.

Restrooms need updating and a long cord for the hairdryer.

Beautiful pool, bar and patio ambiance sets the tone for a wonderful stay. The small touches such as the complimentary Sunglasses, Churros and poolside activities were excellent. Rooms were large, clean and adequate for our needs. Free shuttle bus to and from the Old City was an excellent reliable service! Havana Cabana is well worth it.

Toilet did not work properly and the floors were coming apart from absorbing so much water. This caused the room to smell musty. Tile floor should have been used on bottom floor rooms.

Don’t let them surprise you. A part of the property looks like nice hotel, but behind it there are 2 more buildings that are just like a fancy motel. The room is motel size, with a nicer bathroom, same motel air conditioner, and the usual mess outside. There are tons of employees that love to shout and scream early in the morning.

Great location and Caribbean vibe! Shuttle is excellent! It allows guess to go out, enjoy cocktails, wines and good dinners and return safely to the hotel! Pool is great!!! Staff is very friendly! After visiting Key West a few times Havana Cabana has become our favorite!

Loved the beautiful pool, bar and environment. Think off season for them lots of power washing and landscaping which started early about 8 am. We were on vacation so wanted to sleep in a bit. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room air conditioning leaked the whole time soaking the floor. The room was nice except for that.

There was a fire alarm that went off as soon as we got there and no one seemed to be concerned about it. The day we checked out, the hotel lost power and we had a hard time checking out.

I loved the pool area and the shuttle to the downtown area. The decor of the hotel was so beautiful. Every little detail of a Cuban themed hotel was done so well. We loved the complimentary sunglasses left on our beds when we checked in. Thank you!!

The photographs online and the description are quite deceptive- it comes off as a large resort outside of key west town but it’s actually a reasonably small nicely renovated property on the edge of town.
