Garage is quite small, if you're driving a larger car you may have some trouble.

Spacious, clean room at a great price. If you're looking to be in downtown Portland you can't do much better, just a block from Powell's.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful in every aspect. The room wa very comfortable and met all expectations. The locatiowas withing walking distance of downtown, as well as all businessnesses in the PEARL district. Very centrally located. AND parking was located directly across the street from the hotel if you had a large size car, and underground if you had a smalll size car.Also, check out was 12:00 and if you need to check in before the 4:00 normal time, the staff will work with you to see if it is possible.

It's a great location, and parking is really expensive. I wonder about whether that cost is competitive with other hotels and lots in the area.

Our room was large and well-appointed. Everything was clean and in good working order. Members of our party really enjoyed using the lush robes provided.

We always stay at the Mark Spencer when we visit Portland and we are never disappointed! Love the hotel, the staff, the awesome location. We park our car and walk everywhere.

I was surprised to hear about parking charge of $32.00 per day. that was not indicated anywhere. When booking this room through Booking.com it indicated that they had a privet parking. That increased the room charge by $32 per day. I don't like surprises. That should be mentioned before booking.

I think that the only downside about this property is that their parking garage is kind of small. It is a one car width garage most of the way down, and is very intimidating to maneuver through (at least in my opinion, and as someone who was driving a compact car at the time).

This is the 2nd time I've stayed with this hotel and I'll will for sure be going back. The location is in a really good spot, plenty of things to do in the area or stops to take local transit, and there are options for breakfast both in the lobby or in your room. Both times I've stayed here I have been treated very nicely, and offered room upgrades at no additional cost.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating!! The hotel had a garage for parking, easy access. We were walking distance to great restaurants and stores. The room had a small kitchen and was a good space for 3 adults.

Both chairs had several stains, the tile in the shower was very uncomfortable on bare feet, and the corners of the bathroom looked grimy.

One street next to the hotel seemed to be a spot of substance dealers and/or users (visible from the room), but the blocks around the hotel were overall safe and the roads relatively quiet.

Great hotel in the center of Portland, in walking distance to many sites of interest and public transportation. Stylish and spacious room with a kitchenette. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff.

We were kind of depending on the pull-out couch as one of our beds and it was totally unusable. Totally sloped in the middle so we had no choice but to sleep on the couch not pulled out.

Great area, right downtown near all of the restaurants and shops. Beautiful hotel with old charm but updated at the same time. Would stay here again just won’t use the pull out couch.

The location is right in downtown, so we did see some folks using drugs close to the entrance. But that has nothing to do with the hotel itself.
