Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWalls were very thin. Close to the road so you hear a lot of traffic till about 12 AM. The outside garbage is Warren emptied regularly so there’s a lot of cigarette butts and Garbage and them.

United StatesWe had room #117, first floor, very end of the row. It's literally a dark shoe box which smells like tons of cigarettes (though it said "no smoking"). I asked a manager to change the room but she declined saying they were all booked. We returned to the room and tried to be positive. BUT! It wasn't clean - dogs' hair on the bed skirt (I wish I knew before booking that they are dog friendly), cob webs, mirror wiped with a dirty cloth, mold around bathtub. It was disgusting! I hesitated to lie on the bed but then checked sheets - at least they were fresh. I developed an allergy by the morning - itchy eyes, swollen face, sneezing. Awful experience! I paid not exactly cheap price - it was $280 per night.
The only good thing about this place is location. Staff wasn't bad but also not helpful.

Lot of dirt on or around the door and window, 1in of frost on the freezer in the refrigerator Office never answers the phone, wifi was out the whole weekend there, the pool was empty, was worst than motel 6 The pics on of the motel on booking.com was not quite what I got, like I say the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean

United StatesGreeted with mechanical voice. Didn't really see the person talking through mechanical device. Room had no table or dresser. Had an outdoor lounge chair in the room bed & 1 night stand. Closet was a pole sticking out of wall. Mini fridge froze everything. Microwave was so small could barely fit bag of popcorn in it. Shower had a detachable shower head that shot out toward the shower curtain. No hot water. It was like taking a cold shower with a hose. Soap was the size of a 50 cent piece. The key entry was so hard to open it took 2 people to open the door. Office was only open from 7:30 to 4:30 pm. The trash can was the size of a bowl. Not worth the money I paid for the room. The only good thing was we could walk everywhere.
They didn't have breakfast like said was included with the room. Location was the only good thing.

There was no breakfast, or extra amenities, the room was clean and comfortable... it needed a couple of chairs, so you didn't have to sit on the bed, but overall, it was comfortable. I'd consider booking again with this establishment.

This was a quaint, small hotel with a cabin throw-back feel. I prefer smaller hotels and this was quiet and clean, and appeared to be popular with young families. It was easy-walking to a variety of food establishments.
