Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Hotel blew me away - the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and truly seemed to love working there, and wanted to go out of their way to make our stay special. The rooms were huge, the beds very comfortable. Coffee machine in the room, modern bathrooms, free waters, lobby coffee on tap, breakfast bagels and waffles were great and the kids loved the swimming pool. Location was a 5-10min walk to Newbury Str, but only 1minute to Fenway Park.

The location to Fenway Park is unbelievable. The staff is absolutely the friendliest, efficient, and customer focused staff of any Hotel I've stayed in. The breakfast assortment and staff are the very best, and great at their jobs. This Hotel is awesome! Clean, friendly atmosphere, food is outstanding, I look forward to returning to this Hotel again in the near future.

United StatesThe AC didn’t work during our stay but we were able to open the window and use the fan so it wasn’t a huge deal breaker.
We were checked in by Ella and I can tell the staff here genuinely like their jobs and is respectful of their guests. Props to Chris for going the extra mile and providing 5-star service and hospitality during our time. Loved the hotel and homage to rock star bands. Thank you Verb staff for being rockstar yourself! Keep it going.

United StatesParking is $70 per night 😲 😬 While I appreciate that breakfast was included, the coffee was little better than dishwater. I watched as kitchen staff simply poured more hot water over the already used coffee grounds. No wonder the coffee was so weak!
Location was great, staff was exceptionally friendly, enjoyed the record player in the room and the supply of records, very clean room, comfortable bed.

The staff were fantastic, the meal offering at the bar was varied with lots of options, mainly snacks but very interesting variety. the supply of records to take to your room and the collection of music items scattered around made the stay very memorable
