Inviting private cabin close to Nature and Town

Charming, great location for close by hiking, skiing, away from the bustle of Lake Placid but close enough to enjoy town, if you’re wanting that.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Hemlock, a bit secluded from the other cabins, was wonderful -away from the road with a open floor plan and nice to lounge around the fire. We didn’t get to use the outdoor spaces due to the season, but I’m looking forward to future visit to the area!

The property is charming and in an excellent location. Close to other attractions while still retaining privacy. Also, we love the fact that it’s dog friendly!

It was located in a good location surrounded by the nature and easily accessible. We love the cleanliness in the room and it was spacious. Many things to do around, including hikes and restaurants. If you're looking for a getaway in the cabins, this is the place to go. The owner Yan was also very communicative and quick to response if you needed anything.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The check-in was stress free, contactless check-in. The cabin was already heated when we walked in. I loved the cute little coffee & bathroom baskets. Favorite part was the fireplace setting. Even had cable t.v.,central heat/air, magazines & local area info! We enjoyed it all!! Also loved the porch, bbq & fire pit areas! Great price too!! I would definitely recommend to family/friends & return myself! We were 3 Happy Campers! Can't think of anything negative about our stay.

The chalet was cozy, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and linens were fully stocked and we had everything we needed. The host,(Yann) was very friendly and easy to communicate with through texts and answered any questions I had promptly. Great place to stay and the location was lovely!

The room was a bit dated and some items could use fixing but I feel like the room had what any traveller generally needs--good location, clean, safe, and affordable!

The cabins had a cute, rustic feel and the sheets were very soft and the room came with nice amenities like a fridge, toaster, Keurig, and TV. Also, the owner was very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. We conversed via text most likely due to COVID and they answered promptly. And there was a fire pit in the general area for us to roast marshmallows.

Not much. If you are a light sleeper then try to get one of the cabins further away from the road. It wasn't an issue for us.

Charming homey cabin just off the road. Check in was remote but they were very communicative, and allowed us to do an early check-in.

No complaints, but I wish there were a wider assortment of restaurants closer to us in Wilmington. There's a quaint breakfast place up the road and an A&W family restaurant. A pizza and pasta place is around the corner, too. Also a fancy and expensive restaurant close by called the Hungry Trout. If you're looking for different options, Lake Placid is only about a fifteen minute drive and there are lots of great options for dining out up there.

The chatel was cozy. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The keys were waiting for us inside when we got there (contactless check-in). Very close to tourist attractions like Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge and Nature Walk, and Lake Placid. Cute giftshops nearby, a grocery store, an ice cream shop, miniature golf, a small beach just around the corner where you can rent kayaks, and a park with a playground for kids. Very family friendly.

Great rustic cabin. It was cozy and loved the fireplace. Good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker. I really loved the premises and location. I can't wait until the restaurant reopens. Ten minutes away from all tourist attractions, gift shops and best of all hiking locations. I enjoyed my stay here and would book again.

Super close to Whiteface and much better value than stay staying in Lake Placid. If you are here to ski drive into LP for a visit and stay close to the Hill. Excellent Communication and the check in was easy. New owners are great and working away at upgrades.

Not gonna lie, it puts a negative spin on everything to have that big closed building out front. I think it used to be a restaurant and reception, and in the welcome mail they apologize it's not open *yet*. But as long as it's not, the entire grounds feels like some decaying has-been place.

Great location just outside of a small village called Wilmington. Each cabin is nice and cosy. There's a nice field outside of each to BBQ and for kids to play.

Everything. The cabin (Tamarack) is outdated, rundown and needs a lot of maintenance. Carpets very old, windows broken, paint peels. The restaurant is closed (for more than 2 years). There was trash in the garden around our cottage. The photos on booking.com (and text about the bar/restaurant) don’t correspond to reality. It is a mystery to us where the high rates come from. Something is not right here.

The location and Michelle (housekeeping). There is a metal garden set next to the cottage but cushions are missing, so you can’t sit on it. Michelle provided a thick plaid, so that we had some comfort..
