Was supposed to have two beds but only had one so I ended sleeping on the couch. The mattress on the hideaway bed was FILTHY and should be burned!!! The room was generally clean but could be improved.

The staff was friendly. Good location and the grounds were very pretty; the flowers were beautiful. The room we ended up with was nicely laid out and, though we didn't cook, the full kitchen is a great feature as is the shared/common balcony.

Only had one bathroom in a two-bedroom condo. As we were two couples, this was inconvenient. Although the larger bedroom had two beds, all the beds were only full-sized beds.

Kitchen was adequately equipped for basic cooking. Rooms were decently sized. Furniture was basic, but comfortable and not worn. Bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was available although we chose not to use it. Plenty of towels available. Quiet.

The beds are only full-size so they are a little small for a couple and the mattresses are very soft. We rolled into the center. The door locks are finicky and a bit difficult to use.

The rooms are huge! They are like 1-bedroom apartments with a kitchen, living room, and dining space. The location is nice and set back from the road, so it's very quiet. It is well-landscaped and feels more inviting than a standard hotel. The location is very safe too.

When we got to the room, the keys didn't work/we were locked out for about 20 minutes and we were really tired. Had to wait for staff to come let us in our room, waited 20 minutes. Had to get up early the next morning was out of the room by 6:30 am to go back to work.

I slept good; about 5-6 hours. I would love to sleep at the very least 8 hours. Made it all the way home this day, I was so thankful.

My only tiny complaint was coming in at night and not being able to find the N building. I was exhausted after traveling and the little map just didn't do it for me. We drove around and around looking for our room. It would be helpful if you added a light where we go around to the back area. It was dark and we couldn't tell there was a little drive to go around to our building. If we had gotten there in daylight, it wouldn't have been a problem at all.

Our little place away from home was just like a small apartment with everything we needed. We bought food for the week and enjoyed the kitchen, which helped immensely on not eating out every meal. The tv worked, there were great channels to choose from, and there was no problem with the internet. This is a huge plus for me! There were plenty of towels and toiletries, and the area was really nice. It was a breeze booking, and everyone on site was professional and friendly. It was definitely a bang for my buck for what we got. It is an older facility, but everything is updated and in perfect order. It gave us room to spread out, and there were two tvs. The furniture was also comfortable.

    The internet and TV connections.

The 1 bedroom Apt. was bigger than we expected and made our stay more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the grounds outside and the nice walking trails that led to some nice views of the foliage. Will look forward to staying there in the future. One drawback was the internet and TV were out of connection very often for short periods.

Breakfast kept hotter. Gluten free options/staff awareness.

Good size two bedroom suite although the people above were pretty noisy walking around and speaking on their phones. Shame that people are put above when they didn't seem full. Breakfast was pretty expensive at 20$ not much gluten free available and not very hot. Lovely walk around the lake, needed mozzie protection though. Short walk to Creamers Fields. Good free shuttle service to the airport. 25 minutes walk to town.

    Sofabed mattress.

It appears as though the Resort has purchased several former apartment buildings and created a resort. We had a one bedroom "apartment" with a den, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and bedroom. It could use a little upgrading but it was clean and served our purpose. It was a great space for a family. We did use the sofabed for our teen. I think it had seen better days. I put a blanket on top of the mattress and then put on the sheets. A mattress pad would have been nice. The full size kitchen worked well by allowing us a place to store food for lunches each day and a place to prepare and eat breakfast each day. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the resort site was way overpriced but handy. We would have loved time to explore the wildlife area and the auto museum but not enough time in Fairbanks.

One of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. We booked four rooms. They were spread over three different buildings rather than being together. There are no elevators.

We loved having stocked kitchens so we weren’t paying to eat out every meal. The two bedroom two bath had recently been remodeled and was nice.

Spacious room and great airport transport!

It was overall clean, but some parts in the bathtub and bathroom could've been detailed better. Considering where it is located it would be a good idea to upgrade hotel cars to operate even in bad conditions and maybe consider offering rides to the grocery store (which is much closer than the airport), at least once during the stay.

The room was very big and comfortable with a full-size kitchen that was sufficiently equipped. My room was within walking distance from the front desk (although I know not all rooms are). The pickup from the airport was perfect! Although the (very bad) weather didn't allow the hotel car to drop me off at the airport, they paid for my taxi.

The upstairs neighbors seemed like they were wearing cement shoes with every step. The bathtub, while roomy with lots of hot water, was uncomfortable to truly enjoy. The bedroom tv got very few of the available channels.

Loved the room size and quality furnishings. Astonished to see that had I wanted to, I could have baked goodies, as the kitchen comes fully equipped. Beds were comfortable, as were the couches.

Nothing, really -- the Wedgewood Resorts is hardly a resort, but if you read the reviews and make an informed decision you'll know that. The location can't be beat, and the staff are friendly and easygoing. It is a clean, comfortable, spacious stay.

The suite was spacious - bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedroom. I loved the wraparound porch. The bedroom was comfortable, though the blankets weren't deluxe, a little scratchy. Loved having a full kitchen!

The only thing I wish was better was the available food options. This of course isn't the hotels fault due to it being closed for covid related issues. But you can just stock up at Walmart

I love the amenities. It's your own private apartment complete with all cooking utensils etc. Even salt & pepper was in the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the room stayed warm.

A lovely stay in a convenient location with easy access to nature
    • Leisure trip

The rooms are dated in terms of design and function. We were on the top floor of one of the buildings and did not realize there would not be an elevator, which wasn't convenient for carrying luggage up several sets of stairs.

The resort has a wildlife sanctuary with a lovely trail around a pond, which connects to the Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. Being able to walk from our room out into nature immediately was lovely. This would be a great location from which to enjoy the Northern Lights are visible while you're there; you can ask the front desk to call you if they appear overnight. The rooms are clean and spacious apartments with kitchens, which was convenient and comfortable.

On trip advisor it had free shuttle service to downtown listed but when asked, they only shuttle to the airport. No restaurant or cafe on site. So if you arrived late and Alaska businesses are closed, as they close early, you would have to settle for the small snacks they sell at the front desk.

Clean, lots of space in the room and kitchen was nice. Best thing was the wildlife reserve trail. About 1.35mi long taking most people ~35min to walk. It’s flat and beautiful, quiet and serene. Could walk it every day of the vacation and not be bored of the views.
