Twice the magnet card did not work: make sure that at the check-in counter they programme it for the njumber of nights you are staying: it is a 'long-way' down to the reception again.

especially the higher floor rooms a fabulous view over the park and the buildings around. It has lots of local Uzbeks staying and has an easy-going atmosphere.

From first day internet and TV did not work. Personal did not speak Englisch or Russian. Everytime answer will work later.... On day 3 ms Munojat was at the reception and spoke perfect englisch. She solved the problem in 10 minutes. MANY THANKS to Ms Munojat. In 2 out of 3 nights there was no electricity in our hotel, outside the hotel everywhere there was light

Although the room was clean, the hallways were not, there was food left on the ground (it was there for a whole day) Very low water pressure in the shower.

I was not really sure why that the gym had to be opened and closed the whole time by a member of staff. There was also some confusion when I asked it to be opened for me and I kept being given different opening times (again, not really sure why it was not open 24/7 for the benefit of the guests). Other than this, very nice stay.

Staff was helpful, a lot of facilities in the hotel, great view from the bar, location is also ideal. Room was very big and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a huge selection of things to choose from

It is very tired in more ways than one. There was cigarette Ash on the bathroom floor behind the door. Both sink and bathroom taps are on the verge of breaking. Mattresses left on corridor

some floors are really old . the rooms are big, it’s visible the attempt to keep them updated but this hotel requires a big intervention. the breakfast room is underestimated with big round tables in a grand ballroom not enough for the peoples hosted. various the choice of food, nice the cook preparing the omelette , but the presentation is a little approximative

very nice position, and definitely you are staying in a piece of UZ history. the entrance in clean and the staff is kind and quick, even if the management of the procedures for the passports can appear sometimes a mess with many people overpassing the queue asking for theirs . the price is quite low in respect to other structures with the same stars, but the building is old

Of course the hotel is now quite ancient and not in the best condition, outisde and inside. A little rusty, but very authentic. Nothing dramatic. Overall decently clean

It's all about the atmosphere! If you're into vintage Soviet hotels, this one is for you. Amazing artchitecture. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms, decent personnel. Bathrooms OK

Facilities in general. the hotel has all the facilities that you might need .. but is like to travel on time 30 years ago .. the gym has really old machines, the conference room and the main restaurant looks really old (not in the good way or the “vintage” way), etc .. it’s and amazing hotel with great potential but they need to invest in modernisation.
