The receptionist, Kate, was so friendly. Overall the staff are really friendly and very accomodating. They upgarded my room and the beds are really comfy.

The only problem was the hot water in the shower one day not working properly, otherwise it was ok.

Location was great! The room was big and bed very comfortable. The staff were amazing, all very friendly and helpful especially Kate, who helped us to organise transfers, and gave lots of tips. Breakfast was varied and nice. We would definitely stay there again!

What an amazing hotel , my wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon - the staff went above and beyond the call of duty in terms of making our stay comfortable - helped us find the best food spots and also helped book a tour outside of the city that was great even left hotel and walked us to the pick up spot - hotel itself was very comfortable - nice balcony facing a coffee shop/ bakery - very close to everything - highly recommend!

Golden Legend is all about the service, Trung and Moon went above and beyond what is expected to help us. The Hotel is simple but so homely in the best location. We didn’t really use the breakfast, it is basic, and 2 of 3 mornings we went elsewhere. Our stay was so enjoyable

While I booked the room in the Golden Legend Boutique hotel I got room in the Golden Legend Diamond sister hotel which is just few steps down the same street. Weird. From what I gathered the breakfast is served in the Diamond hotel only so people from Boutique had to walk over each morning. Breakfast is served in cramped space and could’ve been better. Wi-fi is fast but quite laggy.

The location is perfect. Hoan Kiem Lake area and Train Street Area is very walkable from the hotel. The staff was very attentive to your needs and they are very hospitable. Trang and Moon were very helpful, treated us with utmost care and were very warm. I am really happy with all the recommendations they gave us that helped us in our trip. The room was big, the bed was huge, hot water is working perfectly, elevators are well maintained, and generally the hotel is clean. We had an early morning flight back home and they were very kind to arrange us packed breakfast which we were able to eat at the airport. If we come back to Hanoi, we will definitely stay here again!

There was a small ant problem in my room but I think so long as you don't leave food lying around (or the tea that they give you at check in, which was where my problem occurred) then you're fine. The ants did not return after I cleaned out the teacup.

Great location - outside the really hectic part of old town with Michelin rated pho places at both ends of the street. Close to the cathedral and some nice cocktail bars in the area. Room was a good size with a small balcony. Staff was really kind, especially Kate who organized a Ha Giang loop tour for me. Good value for money and would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Hanoi! I only had the free breakfast once but it was an adequate buffet of fruit, small pastries, and some asian food. You could order extra dishes (like pancakes) but I did not - it did seem to take a long time for those a la carte dishes to be made.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff is nice and helpful, and the hotel is super well located close to the Old Quarter and all there is to do in Hanoi. The room was very clean and beautiful, close to many delicious restaurants and cafés. It also smelled very good!! Breakfast could have been a little better, but overall this is what we expected of a buffet style breakfast. We loved staying at the Golden Legend and would recommend it.

The room area is very small. But most small hotels in hanoi old quarter area is like that, unless you want to shell out more for bigger hotels. So be prepared for narrow space including the toilet. The only thing of breakfast that needs improvement is the coffee. The coffee is too diluted! Is very blend... I hope management read this and improve on the coffee.

Friendly and very enthusiastic staffs. I can feel their genuine interests in handling guests. This is marked difference against other hotels especially those big hotels, although polite but are just perfunctory. A special shoutout to Annie, a beautiful lady, she is very enthusiastic in helping and always asking for areas for improvement. She does a good job in promoting their hotel, and here as promised, I am leaving my 10point positive review. The hotel location is good. It is along a minor street with less traffic thus is so much 'quieter', like way quieter. Compared to if you choose a hotel that faces a busy street, you will be woken up early in the morning by honking.. and noise and dust throughout the day and night. Many high rating food outlet(on google) and places of interest are within walking distance (5-20mins) The room is clean which is most important, Bedsheets and towels are clean. Housekeeping does a good job. Breakfast is good enough. A simple spread of food and fruits. You can also order the standard different kinds of eggs (sunny side, omelet etc) and various Pho. An information sheet is provided during checkin. It provides various recommendation of different food stalls (with address). Just try out those outlets are enough.

We loved the employee Moon, she was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English so was able to help us in so many ways with the tiny detail stuff that comes up. The room was great, clean and had everything for a perfect stay. We are making our way back to Hanoi and plan to stay there again.

Well located, next to many coffee places and food. But most importantly - the staff! We needed 1 more night, they pulled all the strings around to find us a room, eventually found one in another sister location 3mins away. They took care of our bags, made us breakfast packs for next morning (as we left at 6am), everything was just arranged for us. Very much appreciated, such dedication!

THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL IS GREAT, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND EASY TO GET TO ACTIVITIES. Staff were exceptional and very pleased to help. They went out of their way to support us with any questions we had. Breakfast at the sister hotel was very nice. Can't say enough about the staff, wonderful young people. We would definitely stay here again.

The best hotel! Everything was amazing. Especially thumbs up to Trang and Hang, they were always there for us and were super friendly. We always had good conversations and things to laugh. Breakfast was really good, lots of things to choose and really tasty! We had a room with balcony, the room was clean and cozy and the balcony was great. Our view was on the opposite side of a coffees balcony, but it hasn't bothered us. When we arrived, we got a plan with many tips where we could go, it was really helpful. We would choose this hotel again for the next time! Big love to the team!
