The place is near everywhere, there is a pharmacy nearby, attractions and restaurants are near also. Staff are nice and very welcoming. Breakfast buffet is nice plus you can request freshly cooked eggs and pho.

Our only criticism is the hot water in our room ran out, or wasn't working, basically every day. We had a number of cold showers. Fridge also goes off when you leave the room and take the room key out of the slot. When we figured this out, we used some business cards to keep it on (cheeky, sure, but you need cold drinks in Vietnam!). We did tell the staff about the hot water. They fixed it once then the other time, sort of fixed it. The staff are excellent, I'd imagine it's just a very old building.

I rate this hotel highly. The location in the Old Quarter is second to none, the breakfast is very good, beds are super comfy. The staff are all wonderful, especially David who went above and beyond to tell us about Vietnam, Hanoi, Hoian, etc, and give us advice. David helped us book our trips out of Hanoi amd gave excellent advice. It was a great experience overall and I would recommend.

The staff were spectacular! Everyone’s really helpful and polite. We even got an option for an upgrade for a cheap price so we took it and it was the best choice for the early check in as well. Room was really spacious and comfortable too. We appreciate how everyone’s working so hard and the breakfast was also nice and has a variety of selection. Will definitely come back!

The staff are the star of this hotel - all have a friendly demeanour & always greet us with a smile; they helped us with everything we requested and went over & beyond our expectations. Location was good in the Old Quarter; lots of good places to eat nearby. Breakfast was varied every day and you can also request that they cook whatever is in their menu. Mr. David arranged all our tours and was even able to make a reservation for us at the Tam Vi restaurant.

Great place to stay in Hanoi. Location perfect. They gave us a free upgrade to family room so loads of space! Room comfortable and good air con. Staff are super friendly. Nice breakfast with pancakes and fruit. Very easy to get a Sim card in the hotel. Great banh mi next door!

Throughout our 5 days stay, there was only once that the water heater didn't work as good.

It was clean and cozy. Very strategic location, everything is just within walking distance.

I loved the hotel. I think some things can be a little improved, for example in the room there was a strong noise in the night, I think from an air conditioner outside (but I’m not sure), but nothing major or bad. Is something you can live with. Everything else was very good!

We loved the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful with everything we needed like tips where to eat. The room was very comfy and big. The location was amazing.

Nowhere to just sit and read or make a private call. A small lounge area would be nice if you can find space somewhere.

The rooms were perfect, the breakfast was okay. What I’d really like to emphasize is the staff, especially Mr David who went above and beyond to make sure all our needs and wishes were met. All of them were extremely welcoming, helpful, all our questions were answered.

The staff members are really friendly and we received a free room upgrade. Great location, close to all the main attractions, quiet street and good breakfast. Excellent service. Highly recommend staying here when in Hanoi.
