Monkeys are a problem and there are special hooks used to secure but these are awkward as it entails hands and knees and fiddling around. I think some innovative person could design something that is easier to use. The monkeys are not a threat, just a nuisance if they enter the tent and they are adept at that. The shop could perhaps have a little more stock of a few essentials. The braai places are ridiculously high so short people need to stand on a chair to see what they are doing!!!!

A lovely relaxing private location with nyala and birds visiting the tub in front for a drink. Beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have the bush experience but also take a short drive to Nkwazi for sundowners overlooking the lake. Reception was very helpful, and present when needed, and the lodge pool was a lovely place to relax after a morning out. We went fishing and Patrick was amazing, informative, polite and really made it a super outing even though it wasn't the ideal conditions for fishing. We took a self drive to the Pongola NATURE Reserve and enjoyed a short drive looking at game.

We did not see as many animals as we had hoped on the boat trip.

The tent is very well laid out making the best use of the space and the beds are extremely confortable. The explanation about elephants done at the research center was really amazing.

It is a fantastic experience. One of the nicest hotel I have ever been. Superb tents with all you need. Everything is from great quality. We spent 4 nights and enjoyed every minute!

- there were a few moments that we didn't had water. The shower was mostly cold and 2 of the fire pits in the kitchen didn't work. - braai - and breakfastbaskets have to be ordered 24h before. We were too late too order, so be sure you have everything with you. There is a small shop, but the shop might close earlier than they said - We were interested in the rhino project - on the website, it's fine for kids as well, but it can't be booked if you travel with children. So be aware of that . We booked a river cruise, but because of the weather conditions, it was cancelled, so we spent 2 days in the hot tub ;)

We loved the idea of Glamping. The location is very nice, every tent has an own hottub.

It is an amazing place to slow down and connect with nature. The staff is friendly and the facilities are in pristine condition. They are always willing to assist and provide guidance to make sure you have the best experience and safety in the wild.

Very dissapointed that staff and management are aware that the tent has a hole which gives monkeys access to all your food. They put a concrete block to block the hole and the monkeys know all they have to do is move the block. they open all the cupboards, ransack the fridge and crap everywhere.

Loved the place. it was a wonderful glamping experience. The hottub was certainly a bonus.

Wish there was a restaurant/ some eatery at least, when you don't feel like preparing your own food. But I suppose that's camping. We were told there are no restaurants in the area, when there is one 2 minutes away at Nkwazi lodge.

Absolutely loved the glamping experience at Africamps. The tent was beautiful and thank God, air-conditioned. It was very hot. Thanks to aircon and swimming pool we could keep cool. Love the fact that you literally live amongst the wildlife. Inyala, warthog, impala were a familiar sight on our porch and next to the hot tub. Even by the pool you have wildlife roaming about minding their own business. We absolutely loved the boat cruise and the game drive.
