Lovely seperate cottage , very clean with all facilities, also small kitchen and terrace. Very well situated, great breakfast and very Nice coffee shop for a small lunch. IWe will go defenitivily back.

Everything was just lovely.

We stayed for one night in March 2024, as a stopover between the Kgalagadi NP and Cape Town. Everything was just lovely. Lovely room, with comfortable beds, a strong shower plus good breakfast, and a warm and friendly welcome.

It was all excellent - one of the best b&bs we've ever stayed in.

Our accommodation was modern, spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The garden was green and shady. Our host, Dawn welcomed us and booked us a table for dinner at a good restaurant and provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area. The breakfast next morning was really delicious.

We simply loved EVERYTHING!

Spacious room, lounge and kitchenette that contained all amenities for a comfortable stay. Our host Dawn was friendly, knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for dinner as well as what to do in the area. The breakfast room is quaint and charming so much so that one could linger longer. Quiet and safe location. Will definitely return! PS: Best wifi in South Africa! 🇿🇦

Nothing......maybe a few irritating mozzies.

Dawn is a woman who really knows how to run a fabulous B&B, our rooms were so organized, clean and comfortable. It's not often that you stay in a B&B that actually has all the crockery and cutlery for 4 people in each room. Perfectly good bed, soft towels and all channels on the TV. The breakfast was superb, and was lively having a chat with the hostess.

Aircon a bit noisy. Would suggest maybe to also have a fan available.

This small lodge was really nice in a quiet part of Calvinia.The room was big and very clean.Nice outside sitting after a long drive.Dawn, the owner was very friendly and prepared a nice, fresh breakfast for us.Very reasonable rate for this level of lodge.

We travelled down to Calvinia from Augrabies National Park for a one night stay en route to our next destination. Everything was perfect, Dawn was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room had everything you could possibly need, it was spotlessly clean, a comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. There was a small kitchen area to make a drink and a fridge. It was tastefully furnished and we loved our stay there. We arrived on a Sunday when most places were closed but Dawn rang a local restaurant and secured a reservation for us, Die Blou Nartjie, and the food and staff were wonderful. The breakfast served in the little garden rondavel was also superb. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the B&B.

There was nothing about this b/b that I did not like but for them I am sad that the municipality will not allow them more signs as it is quite a challenge for oldies like me without GPS and cellphone etc to find places. Not the fault of the B/B at all as they have tried but fighting burocracy in SA is not easy

Loved the electric blanket for a freezing night. Super breakfast; Gated and safe. Super host who was so kind and helpful. Delightful garden with bird song and fountain. Just a really nice place to stay
