Rooms were noisy next to the pool. Certain staff member at dinner were grumpy and unhelpful. Roads in the park are in need of urgent repair!!

There was not anything that I could falter. I enjoyed my stay.

The friendly service from reception and throughout the facility was exceptional. Dinner in the bush, the friendliness and helpfulness of staff and the live entertainment was definitely the 'cherry on the top'. I will definitely see you in the near future.

to be honest, the toilet in the room. Very cute, worked very well, but there was no real separation from the rest of the room. The door is not a solid door, just a shutter door. There is also a big shutter window to connect the toilet to the rest of the room, so that you have the view from the toilet, ....but that gives zero privacy for the person in the toilet....

I liked the african atmosphere, the kerosene lamps, fire places, room size, the spa, the workers, ... We saw few animals in the water hole that we could see from the restaurant. Food excellent. Bush braai, was not really a braai, but it was also very good with live african music

It was confusing that booking.com stated that i was going to pay 2 days before arrival. I did not check before arrival. When we arrived to the place they asked us for payment. So i had to stop the checking procedure, double check my bank, and when i was sure that booking.com had not charged me, then i payed in the premisses. This was confusing and annoying

We four friends loved our stay at Bakubung and none of us could find anything to complain about. My sister-in-law and I were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to an executive suite. A wonderful experience and a superb spoil for which I say a big thank you! A co traveler, who was in a standard room, said "Ooh Ahh" when she saw our room. When I asked how her room was she replied: "Just Ooh!" But what impressed me most was how each and every staff member seemed to have really grasped how important their attitude was in enhancing the visitors experience. They were the best we came across in our month long travels. Congratulations to all of them from reception staff to dining room staff to cleaners to game guides. They all have a personal investment in Bakubung which they clearly understand and appreciate. Such a lovely experience - why go elsewhere?!

I love how the staff was friendly, We went for an afternoon game drive and our guide Mpho was very friendly, helpful with information, we enjoyed the drive with him. The lady Matshidiso or Tshidi was serving us at the pool, she was very friendly and caring.

Unfortunately, the condition of the tarred roads in the game reserve is very bad. Many deep potholes are a hazard to most vehicles.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with great view. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant provided an excellent buffet selection, always fresh and tasty food. A la carte available if preferred. The game drive was productive, treating us to an up-close sighting of a leopard mum and her two cubs.
