Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe management of the hotel is very poor, arrogant and selfish. Actually, they are incompetent. I booked for a stay a month in advance and I told them my flight was delayed but they refused to move my booking simply because the rates were cheaper. The hotel was not full, that hotel is never full except on exceptionally busy periods. The reason I said that they are incompetent is because they punish the clients who book early by overcharging them. This has happened to me more that 3 times already. Booking in advance at this place will always cost you too much than booking a couple of days or the date of your arrival. How ridiculous is that?

South AfricaThe WiFi was a little unstable and the bathtub could have been wider. The window in the bathroom opened to the hall, which meant the fresh air I needed came at the risk of some weirdo probably seeing what he's not supposed to. Other than that, it was great.
I enjoyed the service, especially at the restaurant. The buffet was DELICIOUS and there were so many options!! It was affordable too. The staff are friendly - the waiters were so nice! The seating on the first floor is very comfy while you wait for your taxi. The chocolates on the bed in our room were nice too. I could watch Netflix on the flatscreen and the bed was very comfy. We had a lovely view of the ocean from our balcony. A good room for a night's stay.😊

South AfricaOur rooms were not properly cleaned, the rearranged of our beds without consulting us, toilet rolls in the toilet was a problem and we have to make a call almost everyday to get them and lastly the towels was a problem cause were were four ladies but we were given 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels most of the time and we have to buy drinking water everyday because were were only been provided by drinking water on our arrivals and I have been to Blue water hotel twice and we were provided with water everyday, this was my third time but the service on our rooms was not the one for us except the lady who brought us chocolates at night with a smile...big up to her...very friendly indeed.
The view from hotel was owesome, breakfast was more than delicious and the waiters were very friendly.

South AfricaThe beach. We had to go down the road to enjoy swimming in an environment that felt safe. The beach at Blue Waters is now full of "ämaPhara"/Nyaope addicts, who look like they can rob you at any time. The Ethekwini municipality needs to do better.
Had a great time at Blue Waters Hotel. My kids especially enjoyed the Lindt chocolate treat that they got every night. Breakfast was great. The family rooms are beautiful. Thank you Blue Waters for a memorable vacation. See you again soon.

South AfricaThe fact that they don't serve a takeaway coffee and a croissant or muffin if you have an early meeting and you are not able to have breakfast very early. I visit a lot of hotels where they just put an urn and few savories for guest who go for early meetings and don't have the luxury of sitting down to enjoy breakfast. It was a let down for me especially for your establishment. Durban is very humid and it would be helpful to have a flat sheet as well especially during summer/ autumn and spring months.
The room was clean and sea facing. The check in and check out process were seamless and the staff was very friendly. I liked the cake and the juice at reception, its thoughtful as sometimes you arrive at a hotel tired and hungry.
