Boord Guest House is comfortable from the moment you walk in. The rooms are comfortable and the pool area was lovely to relax around.

the keys! yoh those keys. I really battled with them. there are too many similar ones on the bunch. perhaps upgrade to card access. They were heavy to carry around in my bag.

Greeting by Rashied was excellent and professional. bedroom was clean and lovely. so was bathroom. lots of nice towels and spoils. turndown was surprising - but a lovely touch thank you the breakfast choice was excellent and the hot meal well prepared and tasty. Rashied went over and beyond in getting me an uber.

This was the last stop on our trip through South Africa marked by exceptional hospitality in general. Our stay at the Boord Guesthouse was one of many highlights and an absolute delight. The staff was incredibly considerate. We got up in the mornings to a delicious breakfast and came back from day trips in the evenings to a tidied room and ready beds. The whole guest house is very charming with a lot of attention paid to details like complimentary goodies, fresh flowers, crisp white bedding etc… The tastefully decorated interior and especially quiet little garden with pool offer nice spaces to retreat and relax. Big thanks to both the host and staff! We hope to be back and can definitely recommend.

Good location close to the attraction in Stellenbosch, very tasty breakfast, comfortable room, unique and lovely atmosphere. Ideal place for someone who likes to stay away from big hotels. Thanks to the owner and her staff we could feel like at "home but away".

We loved everything about the place. It felt like home. Our stay at Boord Guest House was amazing. My friends and I had such a lovely time - the monkey teddies in our room made our day! The beds were so comfy, the room was very spacious, homey & clean. The staff were so friendly and sweet - definitely recommend the Cheri! Breakfast was amazing and we would come and stay again in a heartbeat!

One guest came with a dog that frightened our kids. We raised the issue with hotel staff and there was quick action as well as feedback from the hotel owner. The guest was asked to restrain his pet and we then enjoyed our private space by the pool.

The swimming pool and view from the balcony gave us the best experience of our weekend getaway in Stellenbosch.

I didn't like that there was a fire place advertised in the room but no fire wood available when asked. The fact that the specific rooms I booked wasn't available due to a booking error on their system resulting in my sister and mother having to share a bed on her birthday weekend.

I liked the hot shower and the bed was very comfortable. Even though there was a booking problem with their system, their staff was very professional about it and the did manage to accommodate us. I also appreciated on checkout that Shelly was very attentive to our suggestions and committed to resolving the issues in the future.

The people next door to us were making noises and awake at 3 o clock in the morning so this woke us up. We thought quiet time was after 10h00pm.

The breakfast was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The room was very nice. We definitely enjoyed the hot water bottle and the sherry and chocolates at night.

We had a great experience at the guest house. The staff was always aware that we were comfortable all the time. We really enjoyed our room as well as the fireplace in this. breakfast was delicious, the bread was home made and the chef was very friendly. We love to come back again!
