A truly quaint little spot with amazing staff (they really set the bar high - wish customer service throughout SA was like this), good food and super comfy accommodation! Loved all of the "spaces "one could choose from to chill out in, and had an excellent massage with Brenda at the spa (magic hands!). Amanda, Lerato, Martin, Evidence, Harry and team - keep up the great work and thank you for going the extra mile to make our stay memorable and special.

The bed was a little bit hard.

Wow, the service was excellent! Dino, Lerato, Amanda, Brenda and the chef they were great since the moment we landed, everything was taken care of. They really made you feel special and treat you like the only guests. We loved everything of our time at Bundox Safari Lodge. The food was very tasteful, breakfast was awesome. The pinic they planned for us were amazing. The safari drive was great. We saw elephants, lions, hippos. Our rangers were excellent very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Bundox Safari Lodge.

I had anticipated that the lodge was on a river, but that was not the case, so we were initially disappointed (I had it confused with the Bundox River Lodge). Unlike other lodges, this one does not include game drives in the rate. We were at loose ends in the poor weather; too cool to use the pool and nothing else to do (I paid for one afternoon game drive, but given the relatively few guests, there was only one short one available during our stay). We were at the end of a 3-week trip full of action, and that colored my perception that activity was lacking.

The tented suites are well separated and well equipped. We were initially in a tented suite, but were able to stay 2 nights in Hippo Chalet when it rained and turned cool. That suite was wonderful. The outdoor soaking tub and deck were beautiful. It was so great to sleep with all of the tented "windows" facing our deck open. Very quiet at night. The manager, Amanda, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable despite the weather. She is amazingly devoted to guests' wellbeing. Food (we had breakfast and dinner included) was excellent. Lerato, our server, was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Very clean. It was great to see a few animals on the property...vervet monkeys, mongooses, a hyena, a nyala.... Lovely to have our last breakfast served on one of the viewing/lounging decks beside the restaurant. My rating is based on the weather we had. I'm sure this lodge would be a 10 in better weather and with more guests.

Where to begin when describing our stay at Bundox? It really was the most amazing experience ever for us and it exceeded all of our expectations. The area is super spacious and so beautiful. Every little detail was thought of. We booked the Superior tent and it really was a dream! So big and the bathroom with the bath tub view was amazing… like a dream! Warm water without any issues and an amazing bed with electric blanket for colder nights. 2 terraces outside our tent to enjoy the outdoors. An amazing outdoor shower and more. Couldn’t be better!❤️ But overall we were so impressed by the hospitality of the entire staff. They made sure our experience was so personal and perfect! Every one of them contributed to that. The food was delicious every single time, the spa is gorgeous and massages were the best ever. And of course, one of the main reason for guests to visit: safari! It was so so amazing and Siya learnt us so much about all the animals. Literally all the questions we had, he had an answer to 🙌🏼 He spotted even the smallest animals and he made sure we had the best safari experience ever. Living in the ‘Bundox bubble’ for 3 nights was something we will always remember and we are so grateful for the great service and the many gestures of attention. Would 100% recommend it all! Thanks again to the entire staff!

This is an absolutely amazing facility… secluded tents right next to Kruger National Park. The room and en-suite were gorgeous and the whole place was immaculate. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made everything perfect. We had a great couples massage that was even better due to the natural setting.

The welcoming was great. They met us at our car...........really, where do you still find this? The staff are simply in a superior category..........from the cleaners, to Tanya, Eon, Yolinda, Sia, the chef, the waitresses, etc. It was our anniversary and without saying a word, they arranged a private table for us on a deck with a red tablecloth, hearts, well wishes etc. This was super special. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had messages which we thoroughly enjoyed. A must for anybody needing some time out in the quiet and beautiful wild. Thanks to all the staff and well, well done!!

The only downside is the lack of connectivity, especially because if load shedding the wifi also doesn’t work for large periods during the day. Its unavoidable but just something you need to be prepared for.

The team was excellent! Tanya was great and helped with arranging the airport pickup, all day safari and even the morning and evening drives. Also a shout-out to Emmanuel who made sure our mealtimes were special. His warmth and hospitality was unparalleled. And our favorite team member was Peanut! The property itself is well situated. It’s not too fancy but great value for the price.

There is Loadshedding Sometimes, but it didnt bother me.

It's a Tented Lodge, the Well buildt tents are really Clean, the owners maintain all Equipment quite Well. The Site does have 2 Pools with extraordinary Rest places next to it. You can have Breakfest or Dinner in a Platform in the trees. It was quiet and a very nice place to Rest. The owner will Help You organizing a boat Trip or a Game Drive. We went in a Game Drive to the Krueger Park (30min away) and we where Not disappointed (Wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, Buffalo, 2 lepards! ...)
