We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We had the most wonderful stay at Candlewood Lodge. The gardens are lovely, the view from our room was stunning, the breakfast each morning was to die for and the hospitality was next level - Matthias and team went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Very nice and spacious house and rooms with great views over Knysna, Thesen island and the lagoon. Our room was big, clean and we had a balcony with great sights. There were some nice extras like fruits and sherry as a welcome. Best breakfast we ever had with 3 course choice and freshly, organic ingredients. Pool with enough sunbeds and parking on the premises. Very friendly staff who did even manage everything perfectly during multiple long loadsheddings. Matthias is a great host, gave some good recommendations and is managing the premise well. Near to golf courses and restaurants (short ride by car)

It started with a warm welcome, welcome-drink, informations about Knysna, restaurant recommendations and a very interesting tour around the guesthouse with many diffrent and interesting plants. Matthias and his team are amazing and very hospitable. The room is comfortable and we enjoyed the nice view and all the extras like fruit basket, coffeemachine and cookies. The breakfast is just phenomenal, everything is made with love. We can highly recommend this guesthouse and hopefully we can come back another time.

We really enjoyed out time at Candlewood Lodge. There were five star amenities from the moment we walked in. The room was really big, beautiful views. Nice touches like fresh flowers and a welcome drink. The hotel property was immaculate, beautiful gardens, and really nice pool. Breakfast was outstanding, amazing touches.
