Might have been a little too small for multiple people. I didn’t receive any hair soaps and there isn’t a blow dryer. The view was just of a small street and some buildings, but overall, I enjoyed the stay

The breakfast was a nice little buffet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable for one person. There were very soft robes, which were nice! The staff was extremely helpful, never allowing me to carry my heavy bag unless I wanted to.

The windows are old which is charming but it is really noisy at night. On the first night the security guy talked and laughed with friends until 5. Very difficult to sleep.

Amazing view, we couldn’t get enough of it. The staff were very helpful and called the doctor for us when we needed one. The breakfast was very tasty and we loved the location too - so close to tonnes of great restaurants and bars on bree street etc.

Swimming pool area is lame, we never managed to use it. Main glass door of the hotel should be fixed, it has to be opened manually.

Toby is the best, he took time and gave proper guidance. He is made for the hospitality business, I think others in the hotel should learn from him. Location is great between VA waterfront and Table mountain range.

Here is the thing, though the location and stuff are very nice, there is one huge minus : the windows in the room are old and close to absent. So the first several nights I couldn’t sleep at all. You hear basically every sound from the street. The hotel is situated opposite of the public park, so it can get very loud. On top during our stay Cape Town experienced some strong stormy winds, so our windows were shaking, whistling, banging, and letting lots of gusts in the room, as there are huge gaps in the window frames. During one stormy night I had to build a barricade from all the pillows we had in the room, to make it less windy and noisy. So if you are sound sensitive : we wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The management definitely needs to do something about it. In general the amenities of the hotel are pretty old : like bathroom / toilet. They definitely need some modernization.

Nice location in the heart of Cape Town, the view from the room is amazing : we could watch Table Mountain in all its glory! What we also liked about the hotel : it was very clean, the stuff is absolutely friendly and helpful! Special thanks to the ladies working at the breakfast!

The fact that I had to leave early due to an emergency. I lost two nights stay . I requested for a two night credit that I could use at the end of January & it was refused. That is the only reason I will not come back & will not recommend the hotel to my friends and colleagues.

the staff were very friendly but they did not organise enough breakfast for the quests, if you didn't come down around 07h00 then by the time you there they wouldn't be any left
