pity not enough inside parking especially as one travels the country. no lifts...one need use the stairs with your luggage:-( wifi not so good either there was a mouse in the restuarant

The staff were super friendly. The bed was extremely big and the linen was clean. It was great to stay in a historic hotel.

We had hoped to be supplied with shampoo and body lotion. These were not supplied but it was not a big issue as we had our own.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi and other facilities were generally great. We appreciated that the hotel noted our prior request for a room away from the street - they gave us a room at the back.

Only thing that was bothering in the room was the crackling wooden flooring, it was a little too noisy, you could literally hear every footstep you take, but other than that it was a lovely stay.

We liked the fact that it wasn't crowded, especially since we still in these covid times. We could also enjoyed a lovely meal while watching a rugby match🏈 great atmosphere🤗

The vehicles parking in the street, while there was space inside parking. as a result people who arrived after us parked inside and we had our car parking outside. it was safe though.

The only negative is their wine prices that are out of line compared to other hotels/lodges we visited during our road trip.

Room and bathroom were spacious and clean with good towels. Food was good as is the location of the hotel.

In a dreary dull Town, the Hotel is on the main street and looked above average. We arrived early and although they explained that parking was on a first-come-first served basis, the limited parking was already allocated. Breakfast was good.

Had a problem with a TV channel. Could a "just music" channel be installed. on the TV channels? There is no lounge to enjoy a pleasant relaxed sitting to listen to fine background music and chat with friends. Perhaps an indication as to where to view wild flowers would be helpful.

Staff were very friendly, but not well-trained. When we ordered from the menu we had to show them on the menu as they did not know what we were ordering. When a problem showed up, like the broken toaster, they do not know how to handle the situation..No apologies - just fiddled with the plugs and then disappeared into the kitchen. We booked a room with mountain view, but they took us to a room with no view and on the parking area with no privacy. I asked for different room and then had to move all our luggage to the other room - no help offered. We also specifically booked a place that promote safe and private parking, but parking was full on 2nd night and we had to park in the street.

Room was neat and clean, but did not have soap or shampoo - we had to request for that. Meals....for dinner, my husband had lamb curry which was good. I had Tagliatelli Alfredo which was dry and unpleasant. The breakfast was our biggest disappointment. The bacon, scrambled egg, sausage and beans - which you had to dish up yourself - was not even luke warm, and the toaster did not work.. We did not even go back for breakfast on our second day, but had an awesome breakfast else where.
