The leather in the headboard of the bed was peeling off, so the bed looked very scruffy. The restaurant is not value for money. The waiter who served us at the restaurant seemed disinterested and lethargic. The hotel rooms are not actually as luxurious as the photos make them out to be.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The staff at reception were very helpful.

You asked for honest feedback, so here it is. The hotel rooms and facilities are fine but rather dated and tired. Black mould growing in the shower, stain on the fitted sheet, tricky door lock to the room. Public space could do with a BIG clean. The breakfast was pretty bleak.... instant coffee granules and sugar in little pudding bowls exposed to everyone breathing on them, with a flask of boiling water. Sliced banana at the breakfast buffet had gone dry and looked very unappealing. A massive bowl of uncovered Greek yogurt with a fly sitting on the edge. These small things could be improved. A decent coffee, fresh fruit sliced as a guest arrives for breakfast, small yogurts, or items that can be stored hygenically if not consumed.

Everything was pleasant enough, but nothing to specifically like... apart from the waitress Jennifer, who was very sweet. Our bed was comfortable

Positive Criticism on Food Safety. : The Kitchen personnel to saveguard the breakfast area against flyes, by placing netting or covers over the bowls especially at the yogurt table, cold meat and muffins etc. Rather use the Aircon than opening windows in the breakfast area. Thanks.

I called a week before to arrange an early book in. The receptionist said it would be perfectly fine, but upon arrival, our room was not ready. The receptionist was rude when I told her that I called twice to confirm early check-in. They lie on the app to say that there are rooms where smoking is allowed, when there is not.

No rugs or carpets on cold tiled floors. Out of the extremely limited tv channels available. Only two of them worked!

Our room was close to reception and the dining room and as it’s all tiled every conversation was amplified and lying in bed we felt like we were in a very noisy subway. Luckily by 10pm everyone went to bed. Oh and we could hear every step above us too. So next time we would like to be upstairs. But we had a cosy fireplace but we did need to buy extra wood from the shops as imee only had a few pieces of wood. The bar tender offered to buy it for us which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious.
