Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

QatarLoud noises punctuated our first night making it hard to sleep. The second room had a lock that didn't work on the front door and there was no one to fix it after hours.
Staff were warm, welcome and accommodating. We were allowed to check in early. Each unit has its own parking and the units are beautifully decorated. The location is excellent as its on the main road, close to stores and restaurants. South AfricaUpon arrival we were informed that we had to pay for gas to use the gas braai. on the balcony, however nowhere on the booking site or booking confirmation was this mentioned. We also requested for the apartment to be cleaned at least once during our stay of 4 days, but this was also not done.
Very nice spacious apartment, well located to shops and restaurants. Everything one needed. Two TV's were nice.

South AfricaThe games room was a bit overrated, but it was fun to play table tennis. We looked for scissors in the self-catering unit and could not find one. Also, knives are not really sharp.
We loved showing the kids the hippo's walking past at night. Bring a big torch so that you can spot them properly. We could also walk to some lovely restaurants. The children loved the swimming pool.
