We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaMajor maintenance is required: plumbing required. Appliances need upgrade- there was no kettle in our unit, toaster caught alight, microwave stopped working. Patio ceiling was dripping and leaking into the unit. Damp in the bedroom ceiling- made it difficult to sleep- noisy dripping. The rooms smelled like damp. Such a pity that maintenance is so poor as this is one of our favourite places to stay

South AfricaPayment was taken from my credit card on the day of booking. Subsequently I received 8 e-mails telling me how to make payment. On phoning the resort, I was told that my payment was not reflecting. A further e-mail from the resort indicated that payment was reflecting on the system, and I would have no problem at the resort. Within 10 minutes of checking into my unit, I received a call from reception telling me to present my proof of payment. I find this stressful, and unnecessary. There are quite a few maintenance issues with the unit, such as a non working microwave.
Restaurant - the restaurant menu was very limited and disappointing. However, when we visited for lunch, we were presented with a specials menu. This was well presented, and the food and service were excellent.
