The space to keep our clothes was very small

The location was central to all the places we went to, the food was nice. Professionalism from from the employees was out of this world, from the securities, porters, receptionists, waiters, waitresses and the chefs, I would like to nominate Senzo the porter for helping us on carrying the bags on arrival, Wandi, Siyathaba, Mthoko and Sello for serving us with a smile, there were always nearby to assist, big up to all of you guys, you are such an amazing team. How can I forget the cleaners, they made sure our room is kept clean at all times and beyond our expectations. I'd definitely recommend Coastlands Musgrave Hotel with family and friends

You can hear noises from the outside/other rooms ,TV channel needs to be upgraded and another thing normally when we book a hotel we normal have gowns and in our room we only had towels.

The staffs are not well trained on customer service. We booked for Deluxe Room with Ocean View on the high floor but family were given standard room. When i complained the room was changed. Again, two poorly trained staffs stopped my 17yrs old daughter and requested for her to pay as an adult even though her age was included in the booking as a child. This action is unheard of and left my child traumatized and worried about being stopped on the corridor by a staff for questioning about her age. The staffs will benefit from an effective customer service training to update their rustiness as their behavior did not reflect the Hotel high standard and also if i did not complain about the room my family was given, the Deluxe room would have been made available to another person at a premium price. This seems a dodgy.

The front desk staff seemed to have soured the experience at Coastlands. They were most unhelpful and unfriendly whenever I called for an iron (after asking for it three times) or a general query. When checking out, we called reception for a porter, who never came up. The lady at the front desk who saw my kids and I trying to get all our luggage out the lift and outside the hotel, didn't even offer to get us help. The front desk personnel definitely need training on Customer Service. The breakfast staff /waiters were inexperienced and also need training on better customer service.

Rooms were spacious, housekeeping was excellent. Friendly cleaners who cleaned room well.
