We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location was great. We had requested an early check in, for which we got a positive reply from Booking.com. However this was not agreed upfront or the message was not conveyed to the owner. Luckily the owner made a great effort to accommodate this request. At the time of booking on Booking.com there was reference made to a breakfast but after booking there was no reference to it so it was unclear if the breakfast was included or if it could have been booked on arrival.

After being on the road for almost the whole day it was good arriving at the B&B. Friendly host explaining how everything is working. Where to find a place to buy food. The best was the peace, quietness and good bed. The filter coffee and rusk was a bonus. Never ever had this in all our many travels.

South AfricaThe place is beautiful and is situated in a very nice and quiet suburb of Kroonstad. The owner was extremely friendly. When we arrived she was there to welcome us and to show us to our room. After our arrival, we went for dinner, and while we were out the location experienced load-shedding, but when we came back alternative lighting was prepared. I felt home away from. I will certainly visit again. Great!
