The bedding and towels weren’t cleaned very well. Pillows and towels had makeup marks on them.

One of our requirements was breakfast to be included - which was not. We had to ask for fresh towels for the 6 guests; we received 3 which were in bad (throw away) condition. Also started with less than 6. No front door key. No garage access.

The villa was nice and the general environment was excellent with good river access.

The self catering chalets are just the right size for 3 or 4 people, but is in need of serious maintenance. Door handles were falling off, the microwave needed a clean, the oven was very old and rusty and not in good working order. The taps made a very loud noise when we opened them and were loose. Rooms need a proper clean and could do with a lick of paint. Some beds had sheets, whilst others didn't. Some chipped mugs and plates, not very nice cutlery, the fake plastic metal type. Please get rid of the dirty dingy little couch in the chalet. It was an immediate turn off upon arrival. If the chalets recieved a simple makeover or upgrade or just regular maintenance, I would book here again. I was with 2 other guy friends so we could deal with it but wouldn't book this place for my family. I would be prepared to pay more for something better.

The surrounding scenery was amazing. Breakfast was very good, staff were friendly, good dessert cakes. The chalet indoor fireplace was a great welcome in the cold weather.

Great breakfast and they try to make your stay as smooth as possible. The guys at reception adressed us on our names and it made checkin very easy

Its the heart of Winter, perhaps add some more blankets or electric blankets to the chalets, also yes its self catering, but there wasn't even a pan to cook with. Back Up Power in the chalets would be perfect

Room did not have enough towels, no coffee in the room and was not cleaned (dustbin) during the 2 days. DSTV did not work.

Soap, there was no soap just 2 tiny bottles of shampoo for use just 1time, meaning we had to decide to shower that night or in the morning & what happened to those tiny toothpaste that goes with the tiny shampoo and tiny soap??

We didn't have breakfast although when we booked we thought we were paying for bed & breakfast only to be told at the reception that wasn't included, I am really not happy with that, At least serve as per you Ad & if no breakfast is involved just state that it's not included so the customer knows.

The second night there was some loud, near violent commotion between the hours of 1am and 4am which consisted of people screaming in terror and doors banging.

lack of a swimming pool, if they had a swimming pool, built or natural, would be the cherry on the cake

Loved the location, staff, but the room accommodation - no aircon even though one is built into the wall. Was very hot, but could not leave windows open because of Mosquitos
