We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaFirstly, not having a generator that can deal with load shedding i.e. keep everything going and not just essentials. Could not work on my computer, watch TV or charge my phone. At the price we paid for this room, and considering that it is 2021, we would expect the hotel to have enough capacity to keep everything running during power outages. All the other places we have stayed at in the past several years, have been able to switch seamlessly from Escom to generator power and back again. This was exacerbated by the noise of the generator which felt like it was just outside the window. Secondly: The toilet seat that doesn’t fit properly and won’t stay up… difficult when a guy has to pee and must contort himself whilst eliminating to prevent premature closure … ;) Lastly - very limited choices of TV channels.
Beautiful location, friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable bed, great breakfast. Shower that works properly.

South AfricaI requested my room to be setup special due to anniversary however nothing was done to accomodate this. They don’t go the extra mile.
Entire property and rooms beautifully decorated. It was quiet and private. Even though there was a function downstairs the noise did not reach my room. It’s not on the beach but is quite central to both Durban & Umhlanga. The views from my balcony and our table at breakfast were stunning. Vegetarian(halal) breakfast omelette was delicious.

South AfricaThe design of the hotel, while very attractive, resulted in a significantly noisy environment (central double volume space and limited soft furnishings to absorb sound). There was a lack of attention to detail one would expect in a five star establishment.
The hotel was attractive and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The location was convenient for my needs for this trip. The room was comfortable and well equipped.
