The bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke, terribly. There are no sprinklers in the rooms to prevent smokers from misbehaving in the rooms. It made the stay really unpleasant. The picture quality on the TV really terrible. They need to upgrade the TVs

The location of the hotel is really central and close to restaurants. It is located in a quiet suburb. Clean.

location , staff, that knows already our names. the chef at breakfast, after 1st time, already knew my tipe of omelete. every time I came to South Africa o. business, I always stay at this hotel and recommend.

I love the courtyard and the two pool areas. It felf like a little sanctuary because of all the green! The bar is also great for a nice quiet drink. Most of the staff were very friendly.

Bathroom was a tad dated...... Never enough milk in hotelrooms. No barfridge.

That my room wasn't made up while I was out for the day. :( Management was apologetic and responded and ensured that it was made up. I left the room while they did so.

The long walk to the room and stairs. But the layout of the hotel is such and winds through some nice gardens as well.

we booked two rooms my business parter got to her room after check in to find room not cleaned and wine bottle standing around. she was given another room which we think they never updated on the system which led to her been woken up by someone coming into her room ar 01:00 the morning- imagine the horror and fright. she got dressed and went down stairs to say someone just came in her room. Upon that the reception said it was him and he did not know she was there….

There was a mix up with the room we had booked , vs the one we got. However it was resolved by a very helpful staff member. Thank you. The air conditioner in the room is faulty, and although they tried to fix it, the problem persisted. It dripped water onto the carpet below it.

The staff are always so helpful, and we always feel like it's a home away from home. As with our previous stay, we enjoyed the convenience of it's location, minutes from Sandton, as well as the comfort and spaciousness of the rooms.

Internet was terrible. Tried to work but was constantly dropping connection and reconnecting. Evening buffet was disappointing as was the ala carte menu. I've stayed at a few Premier Hotels so was very disappointed. Also had to keep asking for bath mat for the shower.

The aircon in our room was dripping water, and will rot the carpet soon, if not fixed properly. The bathrooms, although big, spacious and adequate, will need a modernisation and revamp sometime.

We loved our second stay at the Quatermain as it is conveniently located, and feels like a home away from home. We love being able to sit on our patio, overlooking the pool, and have a coffee. The superior rooms are spacious, and have everything you need. The staff are friendly and helpful, and go out of there way to to help you. Room service is efficient and tasty.

wifi needs work still , but its much better then it was... the hotel still needs t make sure people are not shouting in pool area or the workers are only to talk quietly to one another. the pool area echoes badly and the cleaning staff like to shout at each other early in the morning

Staff are all very pleasant, they remember me from previous stays which is nice. Good quick check in, absolute bonus.
