We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the guest house, which was served on a beautiful patio, which transported us to the Mediterranean. The breakfast was a 5 star experience.

I think the indoor seating could be improved, especially if we were to visit in winter. Perhaps add an airfryer for restaurant left overs. Everything else was excellent.

A wonderful two-course breakfast was served which was such a joy. My dogs were welcomed with open arms, despite my old girl being a bit barky. The grounds are beautiful and lush - a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful morning. The fountains are stunning and the pool was so refreshing! Everything is so clean and well looked after. I truly enjoyed my week there.

Fountain Place was a lovely place to stay, with a very friendly host and an even friendlier dog who welcomed me back after dinner! The garden is beautiful, so calm and tranquil, and it's an easy stroll to the main street of town, with restaurants etc.

Val was a great host and provided a delicious breakfast. The place is pet friendly and our dog could accompany us, but the place was super clean - unlike some other pet-friendly places I visited.

My Mom, Sister and myself went to McGregor so Mom could visit her childhood town and home. We loved our stay at Fountain Place. Peaceful, comfortable and beautiful! Magnificent garden and birdlife. Val the owner is a lovely lady and she was very accommodating and kind. She presented wonderful breakfasts and went out of her way to please. Best part for me was that I could take my two fur kids with and they had such fun in the garden even though the both managed to "plunge" into the Fountain by accident 😂😂 The weather was fantastic too. All in all a wonderful stay and highly recommended👌👌

Amazing stay. The garden was incredible and available to be walked around. The neighborhood was quiet. Val was very friendly, bug did not intrude at all. Would definitely go back.

it’s a shame, the only thing that let the stay down was the rainforest shower head set up. I found it difficult to regulate, it was in my opinion a little out of control. Secondly, women don’t always want to get their hair wet, with a rainforest shower head this is impossible. a hand held shower head would solve this problem. A small thing, but important. no other observations spring to mind, an excellent place to stay.

The whole experience was wonderful, one couldn’t ask for more. Great location, quiet, beautiful gardens, excellent host. Highly recommended for those wanting to chill out for a day or three.

All the restaurants were closed over the New Year weekend which made it challenging not having self catering.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The position of the property made it a bit cooler on hot days. Our dog was made very welcome. Lovely breakfast

The only thing that I didn't like was the shower, which has a rain shower head, and it is a personal preference issue.

The garden was glorious and so peaceful. We loved sitting outside, enjoying the birds and nature there. We were also able to bring along our dogs, which made the holiday extra special. Val went above and beyond to make our stay exceptionally pleasant. She made a glorious breakfast every day for us. Val recommended some great restaurants and local activities. We were close enough to Robertson and Bonnievale that we could go wine tasting and explore the valley with ease. I also loved the pool at Fountain Place, which was small but ideal to cool off in the afternoons.

Position was perfect to walk to the main road and visit the local restaurants. Val was extremely hospitable and very helpful with some amazing suggestions. Amazing omelette for breakfast outside under the vine pergola in a beautiful garden setting.

i would have liked to have parked my car inside, however i was assured it was very unlikely to get damaged where it was parked . My car was very safe and no harm came to it.
