There is nothing much I don't like about the place but the wifi is always disappointing. It doesn't work that well.

I love the location and the peace the area brings. It was my second stay so I really enjoy the place.

I really liked all the personal touches! I’ve visited before, I was recognized and greeted with a lovely smile. I even got a little teatime treat on the house! The suite was pristine and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped.

The property is on a lovely piece of land overlooking rolling hills and cattle grazing. The fireplace (with wood and firelighters provided), gas hearer and electric blankets ensured we stayed warm!

We arrived early at the accommodation and we were not allowed on the property and turned away as check in was only at 2pm. The owner did not even give us an option to come in to the property to wait until check in but instead said we should go and have lunch somewhere. The next morning when we were checking out the owner then tells us that I need to pay for my child although I booked a family suite which included my child. After back and forth and us advising that we need to reach out to bookings.com he eventually said it was fine and we didn’t need to pay for the child. Unfortunately due to the unfriendliness we experienced we would not go back to this establishment. I also noticed that bookings.com advises breakfast is available at the property however when I called the establishment, they advised it is not available.

My room was changed without my consent or knowledge. I was expecting to get the room id seen in the pictures but got another instead. Wifi signal poor which disrupted my work flow. No dinner provided on site, as was stated in the bookings profile. As i was on a semi working trip these few things inconvenienced my stay somewhat - that, and the proverbial loadshedding in South Africa.

The setting was pretty and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfy, and the cottage was toasty and warm in the winter nights. I felt really safe on the property as a solo traveller.

The wifi didn't work apparently due to loadshedding prior to our stay. We would have appreciated 2 tea bags and coffee for our second morning (beyond the complimentary ones that we enjoyed on the first morning). When we asked, the staff member very graciously went and asked the owner but then returned with a sheepish "no". We were taken aback - to be frank.

They said they provide ironing facilities but when I asked the owner on whatap she did not respond instead she blueticked me,even if they were not providing it I believe she was suppose to answer her guest , also the wi- Fi was not working.The other thing there were dogs of which my kids were scared of .

The house was very clean and kitchen facilities were enough.
