A beautiful estate with lovely facilities and location. A short drive into the town which was easy and quick access to all restaurants etc.- the property felt very homely, owners were living there with their dogs and all feels very welcoming and relaxed. Inclusive wine tasting was great and the picnic is a must!

Everything was perfect, although I think I’ve seen it mentioned that there was a yoga studio, I didn’t see it on the property and would’ve liked to do some yoga, but this definitely did not have a negative affect on our stay.

As soon as you arrive, you are put at ease by the staff and relaxed friendly family atmosphere. The honesty bar / fridge was a real perk, and added to the feeling of being at home. Breakfast is delicious and lots of choice. The room was very comfortable and the property itself is gorgeous. The views and peacefulness are breathtaking.

Nothing - we had a thoroughly relaxing stay.

The location is stunning - the farmhouse is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and the walk up to the restaurant / tasting rooms was beautiful. The service is personal as there are so few rooms and all staff are approachable and friendly, willing to help with any problem.

really fantastic place with very picturesque location at the end of the valley but only 5 minutes drive to the centre of Franschhoek, great views, quiet, luxurious and relaxed atmosphere, in the vineyards, nice pool, very friendly staff, we stayed in the honeymoon suite which was exceptional

The only slight suggestion would perhaps be for a small fridge in each room so you can enjoy the complimentary bottle of rose in each room and keep water/ milk cold.

I cannot think of one thing. We wanted to stay and extra night but it was already fully booked.

The views are incredible, the state is beautiful, the hotel is trendy and comfortable. Very nice pool. Franschhoek is a short drive away. We really enjoyed the wine. The staff made it extra special. They were welcoming, attentive and went beyond customer service.

It’s a minor quibble but a refrigerator in the room would be nice.

The views from the property were stunning. We visited many other vineyards on the Wine Tram and none could match Holden Manz. The king suite was very sizeable and well equipped. The bed was humongous and extremely comfortable. The property was very well maintained and the breakfasts fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (thanks Charlene and Frank). Also their wine is lovely. The Big G red or Rothko rose went down very well.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely country house. Set in the most stunning surroundings, it is a beautiful vineyard with very plush interiors. We enjoyed our wine, tasting, the delicious picnic and wine in our room. All very generous and breakfast was delicious. I very much recommend staying here. Thanks to Frank and the wider team. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I'm being petty, which is the only way to list things I din't like about this place. It really is stunning. The veranda door was broken/stuck whilst we were there. For the price range it would have been nice to have a slightly larger TV... I warned you I was being petty.

If you take a wonder you'll be fascinated by what you ruin into... a river running through a vineyard, a working vines beautifully maintained (a functional description for something truly stunning, as if maintenance is even an objective), an art gallery unexpected, a pool on the edge of forest. The guest services are great and the breakfast is outstanding.

Everything was amazing

The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the inside is also beautiful with many pieces of art to enjoy. The set up encourages the guests to use the communal facilities as though it was their own home. The staff and level of service offered was next level. The breakfast was very tasty and extremely filling as includes, croissants, muesli, fruit and yoghurt along with a hot option.

Friendly greeting and tour of the grounds from Liesel (manager), gorgeous view from room, extremely comfy bed, tasty breakfast the next morning with warm hostessing by Charlene. Just sad I didn’t book for longer!
