Everything was absolutely first class. The accommodation was stunning, staff so attentive and helpful and the food delicious. The ranger and tracker were incredibly knowledgeable and keen to share their experiences. The attention to detail when laying dining tables was spot on and the care taken didn’t go unnoticed. Varying the location every evening was a nice touch and demonstrated the thought that went into meeting all our needs. Thanks to the chefs who were extremely talented. The afternoon snacks and the breakfasts were varied and extremely tasty. I would like to mention everyone by name by way of thanks but special mention to Dezchelle, Linri, Marie, Sam and Lots for their kindness. I should just mention the abundance of wildlife too. The leopard spot was a highlight for us. Thank you Impodimo, you are fabulous!

Very helpful and friendly Reception and Admin staff, and Guide. Rooms are great - especially those on the waterhole. Impodimo is easy to get to. Beds were comfortable. Guide ensured that we saw a great range of game.

We liked everything, it is hard to know where to start! I already miss the place and feel like I might need to return very soon! Firstly Reuben (the Ranger) and Sam (the tracker) were the DREAM TEAM. They were both professional, personable, polite, knowledgeable and would always go the extra mile to give guests an amazing experience. The game drives were twice a day for 3-4 hours each (morning and evening) and we saw a plethora of animals. Every game drive was different and it was great not knowing what spectacular sight we would see each time we went out. We had 14 game drives! We watched the animal engaging in various different behaviours and had opportunities to learn about all of the animals. The coffee in the morning and the sundowners in the evening were brilliant - a range of snacks were offered in a tiffin box with a great variety of drinks also being offered. The service at the lodge was impeccable, all staff incredibly friendly and efficient. The food was out of this world, plenty of choices and very well presented. They cater to various diets with aplomb. The massages that I had with Kitty were glorious, just the right pressure, she was very friendly and warm. She let me know when the elephants were passing the Sala where the massages took place - really quite unforgettable. The rooms were exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay; full mini bar, snacks and tea and coffee. The room had an amazing bathroom with both bath and shower. We stayed in Lodge Number 1 and we had an amazing view of the waterhole where we saw the full range of animals which was awesome. The elephant hide was fantastic, equipped with all the refreshments that you would want and we got within 3 feet of an elephant drinking at the waterhole. All in all, an unforgettable experience! Don't think about it, just book it!

Fantastic view, very quiet and perfect to see animals all day long from the terrasse. The game drive were very informative and fun around different parts of the national park. Meals were very good and varied food and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable and spend a great time at the lodge. The pool is also very nice to chill after a game drive and to spot some more elephants!

Fabulous stay from beginning to end. The lodges are beautiful, food excellent and amazing hospitality. The game drives were incredible - a big thank you to our ranger Reuben and tracker Sam. We would definitely love to make a return visit.

Everything about our experience was brilliant. The staff was outstanding and so helpful as my husband has walking issues. Every enquiry before we arrived was answered promptly. Blythe in the office and Lyne (I think that was her name) were so charming and made us feel so welcome and always there to assist. We loved the location and our room with its wonderful raised terrace. It was magical. The food and the presentation was excellent. I am vegetarian and there were always good and tasty choices at each meal. Our driver, Ruben and our tracker were brilliant and professional and we saw everything it was possible to see and more! They were always patience and answered all our questions, however stupid! Our room had basin taps that would not turn, but I understand that a refurbishment is due. That is the only reason I dropped my evaluation. No other.

We have been to many Safari lodges in South Africa, however, Impodimo has been hands down the best Safari lodge we have experienced. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and organised. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible stay with them. The service was amazing. Our guide Ruben and tracker Sam were incredible and made our viewings of the big five (and much more!) a memorable experience. They were both incredibly informative and happily answered our many questions. There were many small touches which made our stay at Impodimo very special. Our lodge was gorgeous. It was incredibly clean and had all we needed. Last but no way least, the food was faultless. Impodimo put on a spectacular breakfast, high tea, and three course dinner. Even the snacks on the game drive were top tier. We can’t wait to visit again!

Everything was incredible, from the rooms to the staff to the food and the daily drives, we were in room 2 and had an incredible view of the water hole from our balcony where we spent most of the afternoons watching the many animals stoping by. I could not recommend this lodge any more. The lodge itself is beautiful and intimate, it’s also unfenced with its own water hole so if you come during the dry season you will see a lot of activity there. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, it was my partners birthday when we were there and they decorated our room, made him a cake and sang happy birthday to him in the evening as well. I feel so grateful to have even spent a short time here, it was a trip we will never forget.

Emerging from a "health blackhole" Impodimo is the absolute desirable light in the tunnel to ensure that you start your journey to recuperate. We found that no request we possibly had were a bridge too far for the staff and this includes all staff.

The location of the lodge is superb, close to a ridge which forms a corridor for animals to walk past the lodge. All the staff were super friendly and attentive to make our day at every opportunity. A special thanks to Kevin, Culture and Blythe for the wonderful time we had.

The lodge is beautiful and the game drives were absolutely amazing. Ruben (ranger) and Sam (tracker) really made our visit unforgettable. We had the best 'picknick' sunrises and Sam made sure we found all the animals we could wish for.

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! I don’t know where to start. Firstly, my dad and I were welcomed straight away as soon as we drove into the lodge. The staff were so lovely and greeted us so warmly. We were then briefed by a lovely gentleman who gave us an understanding on what to expect on our stay, including times of drives and safety around the lodge. We then got directed to our lodge, which again was breathtaking. So cosy and amazing views of the surroundings. The maids were amazing and visited 2/3 times a day, keeping our lodge tidy which was so lovely of them, making our beds morning and night and even left little bed time stories to read at night with some sweet treats. The food was not stop flowing with high quality produce, amazing flavours and perfect presentation! (Definitely put a few pounds on but so worth it :D). Finally, a massive shoutout to our driver and assistant, Meri and Culture!!! You both made the whole experience. Both very knowledgeable, full of character and always willing to answer questions and give you the full safari experience! We can’t thank all the staff enough for a life times/bucket list holiday. Impodimo is the place to stay. We will definitely be returning in the winter month to see the different season and more wildlife! Neil and Sian x

We loved our stay at Impodimo Lodge! I cannot recommend it enough. The hosts were lovely and extremely welcoming. Our room was stunning and had a superb view of the waterhole. We had two safari drives accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. The food was exceptional. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
